looking for something
to quench its thirst

of those who broke them

don't be thirsty
for i am the caspian sea
don't be lustful
for i am cupid
don't be foolish
for i am gandhi
i see you breaking yourself
over him
i see your heart
the way it aches
the way it yearns for that concept
called love
my heart reaches out to you
for i am the arms that hold you
i am nothing more
nothing less
i am nothing but a light
that wants to shine
in your darkness.
