Mitch's POV

"GET OFF" I yelled pushing Burke off of me, "I'm so sorry" Burke said and helped me up "Why were you trying to get in my room?" I asked, irritated "Well, I wanted to see if you were in your bedroom yet, and if you could help me with my homework" He said giving me puppy eyes. HA! Puppy eyes don't work for me "No" I said, rather bluntly if I do say so myself. "Pleasssse" He kept pestering me "Fine, just shut up" I said and he did a small victory dance. I sat at my desk and he crouched next to me "Get your stuff out" I said and started pulling out the math homework. He pulled out the math homework, and placed it on the table next to mine. "Okay so for number one you have to write down the answer for Pi" I said, retrieving my pencil and an extra for Burke. "Thanks" he said, then he smirked and looked at me. "How can I know so many hundreds of digits of pi and not the 7 digits of your phone number?" He ended up saying, earning a kick in the knee and a shove towards the window. "OKAY! I'm sorry, please help me with the homework" Burke said, trying to crawl back through the almost shut window. "No! Get out!" I said, shutting the window, then drawing the curtains. I sat at the desk once again and quickly finished the homework, deciding I could use some more sleep. I layed down on my bed after turning out the lights. I woke up and checked the time, 1 AM. What the heck woke me up? Then I heard a tap. WHAT? I got up and went over to the window, I opened the curtains, but stumbled backwards when I saw a few rocks littered around on the board and a piece of paper taped on the window. "You still have my homework sunshine." ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! I looked across the window and saw his window was slightly open. He must've been throwing rocks at my window but dozed off before I drew back the curtains. "Jeez, this boy's gonna be the death of me". I turned towards my desk and grabbed his blank homework. "Might as well.." I said, sitting down and completing his homework. I attached a sticky note saying "Better pay attention in class" and then walked to the window, paper in hand. I opened the window and carefully crawled across the unstable board. Now at his window, I gripped the crack where he was throwing rocks at me from, and hoisted it up. I attempted to crawl in, but failed because I tripped on the sleeping Burke. "Damn it" I let the words slip out. I got up and placed the sheet of paper on his desk, which was littered with papers and trash. I took a quick glance around, you can't blame me for being curious. The room was clean, but on the verge of being sloppy. I looked at where Burke was sleeping on the floor, head up against the wall below the window sill, arms spread around his lap, legs curled under him. He really did look like my crush. "ACHOO" I retaliated, looked towards Burke where he opened his eyes slightly, he was still half asleep. I grabbed his hand and pulled him up, well only half way. I dragged him to his bed and layed him down. I covered him down and headed for the window when I heard him whisper, "Night Sunshine" I looked at him as he snuggled into his blankets more. It was obvious he was asleep, but it was still, what's the word? Cute. That's the word. "Night, idiot" I said, more harshly than I thought. I crawled onto the board and turned, closing his window to the best of my abilities. I crossed the way to my window and popped in my room, closing the window behind me. I decided to leave the curtains open for sunlight, after all the sun raises where it's looking towards my window. I crawled into bed, pulled the sheets to my chin, and fell in a dreamless sleep. I awoke to my alarm clock, chiming the same song, All Night. I got up and walked to my closet and grab some clothes, deciding on a purple and white shirt, and paired it with some jeans. I took a fast shower and got dressed. I walked back into my room to grab my backpack when I saw Burke open his window. I decided that I would try and be nice to him this morning. "Morning dufus" I said opening my window. "Just enjoying the sunlight" He said, "But the light shines on my side" I said, pointing out the obvious.. "You sure about that, Sunshine?" He said, smiling at me. "Again with the nicknames?" He laughed a melodic laugh and shut his curtains. I heard his retreating steps, but I kept staring at the window. I can't help but swoon a little bit..
