Chapter 6

CHAPTER 6: Darnell's POV

"Grover, Daryon, meet me outside today before Burke leaves" I snap at the guys next to me, stuffing their faces with food. "Mhp" I get as an answer from them both. I see Burke enter the cafeteria and I call him over. I can't have him trying to find Mitch now can I. At the end of the day I exit, seeing Burke just behind us. I walk a few more feet away, then turn. I see him looking towards something. I look at what he's staring at and see Mitch. I grit my teeth "Stand next to me and block Burke from walking" I bark orders, Grover and Daryon immediately stand next to me. "Hey dude do you wanna hang? Grover and Daryon have nothing to do so we're thinking we could do a guys night" I said, trying not to sound threatening. "Uh sorry guys, I have a bunch of homework to do so I'm not sure if I can" He responds, looking sideways. He's lying. "That's fine, we can hang after you do your homework" Grover suggests. Grover is gonna be sorry he said that, he ruined everything. I was gonna make an excuse to go, then find mitch and invite her to go somewhere. "Umm yeah sure well gotta run. See you guys soon" he says and pushes through us. I turn towards Grover and start cursing him out like a fiend. "Whatever" He responds, turning and walking away. I blow out an angry puff of breath and start heading towards my house. "Uh, wanna still hang out?" Daryon asks "What is wrong with you?" I reply genuinely. Then I turn and walk away, leaving him there. On my way home I take out my phone and start playing club penguin mobile version. Its slightly crappier than the PC version, but who cares. When I reach my house I open my door and walk in, ignoring my moms 'hello' and my dad's 'hey kiddo'. I walk to room and slam it behind me. Burke is getting to close to Mitch for my liking. She was my pretty little princess. And only mine.

*Sigh* Yep, short chapter. It pains me to release these short chapters but we have to for the purpose of the story so enjoy whats here and get some pizza, BYE!
