Your back~ Shatt fanfic

Feelings are coming back.

After Pidge shows Matt around the castle and introduced everyone, Matt decided to go to the lounge and sit down for a while. After a while Shiro come in to, "Oh, hey Matt didn't know you'd be here" Shiro says going over to Matt, "Oh hey Shiro what are you doing here?" "Probably the same thing your doing". Shiro sits down next to Matt and leans back. Matt couldn't help but look at Shiro after all he hasn't seen him in, what about a year. 'At least he made it out ok' Matt thinks to himself not realizing he's staring at Shiro. "Uhh Matt, are you ok?" Shiro askes wavkng his hand slightly in front of Matt. "What...oh yeah I'm fine", He says and looks away. Shiro doesn't say anything after that and they just sit in an awkward silence.

After a while of sitting there, Matt says "Shiro how exactly did you escape?" Shiro jolts from his thoughts,"Oh this galra named Ulaz saved me, after the galra replaced my arm, how about you", "The rebels attacked the ship I didn't know what wad going on it was all going by so fast...then we got to one of the bases and that's where I met Teaz.." Matt couldn't go on Teaz wad the first person there for him in a while. She was family to him. "S-sorry I asked", Shiro says after a second or so, "Oh no your fine...its just Teaz was one of the first people there for me and when I heard she died it kinda hit me hard." Shiro just nodded and Matt nor Shiro said anything else. "Oh hey guys" Lance says as he enters the lounge, "Oh hello Lance" Shiro says "Hey Lance" Matt says and waves at Lance. Lance comes over and sits down next to Shiro "Soooo what were you guys doing?" Lance askes quiet curiously, "Just talking" Matt says looking at Lance then giving him a small smile, Shiro nods in agreement. Then a few minutes passed and everyone was now in the lounge just sitting and talking.

After an hour or so everyone got up and went to there rooms, except for Matt, he just walked around the castle looking at everything that was there, looking at every detail that was there. He stated thinking about the Garrison and how he first met Shiro.

Flashback to the Garrison

Samuel Holt arrived home one day with a guest" Oh now who is this?" Asks Colleen walking up to her husband. "Oh this, this is Takashi Shirogane" Takashi held his hand out "Well nice to meet you Colleen, you can call me Shiro for short", Colleen takes Shiro's hand and shakes it "Well its nice to meet you Shiro". Just after that Katie comes running down the stairs with something of Matt's. "KATIE COME BACK HERE WITH THAT"! Matt yells as he chases his sister down the stairs. "Hey Matt there's someone I want you to meet" says Samuel as he sees Matt. Matt then stops  chasing Katie and goes over to his father. "Shiro this is Matt, Matt meet Shiro" Matt holds out his hand for Shiro to shake "Nice to meet you Matt" Shiro says as he takes his hand and shakes it.
After awhile of Shiro coming over often and him and Matt hanging out, Matt started to get feelings for Shiro but Matt couldn't tell Shiro because he was afraid of rejection. But when they heard that him Shiro and his father were going to Kerberos, Matt was excitedl, really excited, but nervous, spending a whole year or more in space with his crush he couldn't confess to... that's what worried Matt the most but he just said that he would have to get used to it and it wouldn't be that hard.

Back to the present

Once Matt finished walking around he went to his room but he couldn't sleep, all he could think about was Shiro. 'My feelings are coming back' Matt said to himself over and over again, then he finally couldn't keep his eyes open and he fell into a deep sleep.

The next day everyone was in the control room, but Matt. "Does anyone know where Matt is?" Allura asked, a few moments after Matt comes walking in with dark circles under his eyes. "Matt are you ok?" Pidge asked as she walked up to her older brother, "Yeah just couldn't sleep last night", Pidge nodded and smiled. "Ok, now that ever one is here we can start planning our next attack" Allies said as everyone gathered around her.

After planning there next attack on the Galra, Shiro walks up to Matt "Hey is everything alright"? Shiro askes in his ever day tone "Y-yeah just couldn't sleep last night." After that Matt went to the green lions hanger to see what Pidge was up to. "Hey Pidge" he says as he enter the room. "Oh hey Matt." Pidge answers but doesn't look up from what she is working on. "Whatcha working on" Matt askes as he walks over to Pidge's little desk. "Oh just another modification for green." Matt watches her as she continues to work on her modification. Then Matt thinks 'does pidge now about my feelings for him' he ponders on that for a moment. Then he says to himself that he shouldn't bring it up. He leaves and starts walking around the castle again. He is so tired that he goes to his room and he falls into another deep sleep.
