Emotional Trip

A/N Note
Ok so sorry this is late...wattpad decided to not save the chapter when I had it almost done with like 178 words...so yeah that made me mad and sorry if everything goes by fast in this chapter.

Once Matt and Shiro wake up, they feel absolutely horrible but they get up and go to eat with everyone else in the dining hall.
"So Coran, Keith and I will be going to several different planets to get supplies for the teladav and the healing pods, while Lance, Hunk and Pidge will be going to the space mall to get these supplies" Allura says handing Pidge the supply lists. "Matt and Shiro will stay here, they got sick somehow". Allura says as she leaves the dining hall followed by everyone else.

After they all leave Matt and Shiro just hang out in Shiros room, until they hear a wormhole open. They run out and see that they are near a planet is a little smaller than Earth, and at the back of a solar system may be even a galaxy.
They land,actually the castle landed it self as well as send them here.
"Oh...well we weren't expecting visitors" says a boy in an awkward looking coat. Shiro and Matt exit the castle ship, "Heh, we weren't expecting to come either" says Shiro in his everyday tone. Matt nods in agreement. "Well you all must be tired follow me" says the boy and signals then to follow him they do and reach a house, with a large field behind it. "If you see anything or hear anything out there, don't go its just allusions" says the boy as he hold a the door open for Matt and Shiro. They enter and sit down on the small couch. "I'm Akos and this is my other brother Eijeh and my sister Cisi" Akos said and the other two waved Cisi smiled at Matt and he smiled back. "And I'm Aoseh" A man says walking down the stairs, "Who are these boys Akos" asked Aoseh. "I'm Shiro and this is Matt" Shiro said right after. "Oh well nice to meet you" Aoseh said.
A few hours past, Cisi and Matt seemed to get along great, she reminded Matt a lot of Pidge to be honest. Aoseh seemed to get along with Shiro geatly, Eijeh, Matt, Akos, and Cisi were all just kinda messing around like teenagers do. Matt then askes, "So who are you guys anyway" he asked quiet curiously. "Oh well we are the Thoveset, the reason for the big field of feathergrass is because it separates us from our enemy the Shotet, they are also Thovesets but refuse to call themselves so" explains Eijeh, "Everyone who lives in this galaxy, powered by a current, has a gift it can be good or bad but that depends on you. Like Aoseh, he can fix things, not well but he can" adds Akos, "Our mother is a oracle and she can see other peoples fates." Adds Cisi in a sweet tone. "What are fates?" Matt asks getting even more curious. "Fates are what peoples futures and gifts are, but as of now, people who are fate-favored are in danger, their fates have been exposed, and that isn't a good thing." Says Akos. "Oh, is there anything me and Shiro could do?" They all just shake their heads no. They change the subject quickly, Matt talks about Pidge and what Earth is like and the other kids talk about this galaxy and the Blooming. "Wow this place sounds amazing!" Matt says "Your planet sounds great to and so does this Pidge you speak of." Cisi says. But then Matt sees his mom and dad, he bolts outside and chases them going into the large field of feathergrass, the others tried to stop him but didn't work. Shiro follows him, then they get lost. "I'm sorry Shiro, I really thought they were out here" Matt says sounds like he is on the verge of tears, Shiro looks down at Matt and wraps his arm around his shoulder, pulling him close " Oh Matt its ok, I would have done the same" Shiro reassures his boyfriend. Shiro looks up and ahead and sees the exact same thing, Shiro and has him arm around Matt. "Matt...do you see this?" Shiro asks staring at,well, them. Matt looks up "Yeah i do, is that us?" Shiro nodded. Then the clones started getting younger and replaying very important memories, it went to when they first met then Matt started seeing when he got accepted to the Garrison and Pidge's reaction, then when Pidge and him turned 13, then Pidge's first day of school, then seeing Pidge's first steps and her first words, then Pidge's birth, Pidge's parents telling Matt he's gonna be a big brother, then Matt's first day of school, and his first steps and words. Matt started tearing up after seeing all this fly by. Shiro seeing his past as well. Then the clones disappear and Matt breaks down crying into Shiros shoulder,and they both continue walking.

After probably and hour and a half later they see another set of clones bit these don't show their past, they are evil versions of the ones they love the most, Matt's being Pidge and Shiro being Matt. "What's this?" Asked Matt, sniffling "I-I don't know" as Shiro said that the clone Matt hits him in the gut with his staff and the clone Pidge hits Matt with her Bayard. "Shiro I think we have to fight them" Shiro doesn't respond or does Matt see Shiro all he sees is the evil Pidge in a fighting stance. Shiro the same way, can only see the evil Matt in a fighting stance in front of him.
Matt and Shiro are in tears from fighting the ones they love but they finished this part and continue forward for another 2 hours until they see the whole team and Matt's parents. They look sick, Matt start a running to them Shiro follows close behind. But as they are running they hear "This is all your fault" and other countless things saying its their fault they died.

Once it all ended Matt was in tears and asleep in Shiros arms. They reach what Shiro remembers as the Shotet nation. He crosses the gate and is welcomed by a woman in a feathergrass dress.

Another A/N note
The names and place in this chapter and half of the next is from a book called Carve The Mark by Veronica Roth. Which is a really good book I highly recommend it☺

I also changed somewhat of the meaning of Carve the Mark so what this chapter says is NOT what the actual book is like
