"Miss, may I see your passport?" the customer agent spoke softly. Jessa handed her passport over instantly. The woman looked at the passport and back to Jessa a few times then stamped it and passed it back to her, "Have a safe flight."

"You too, I mean... I'm sorry, thank you I will," the customer agent giggled at Jessa's mistake as though shes hears it daily. Jessa shoved her face into the sleeve of her over-sized yellow sweater in embarrassment and continued down tunnel towards her plane, and was shown to her seat. Jessa struggled with her luggage but managed to shove it all into the cramped overhead compartment. She plopped herself down cheerfully next to a large man who had a kind smile.

"Hello sir, my name is Jessamine but you can call me Jessa seems as though we'll be partners for the next fourteen hours," she flashed a smile to him and he shuffled in his seat.

"Lovely company you'll be. Sung-ho," Jessa was grateful that she was seated next to such a pleasant person, then felt her phone buzz in her pocket and remembered she had to call her mother before her departure.

"Sorry, I forgot to call my mom excuse me for a moment," he gestured for her to go ahead and she pulled out her phone. The tone rang three times before the call was answered.

"Mom! I'm on the plane now. Nope there were no issues in the airport I found my way easily. I'll eat on the plane; have you eaten? Good. Make sure you stay healthy while I'm gone. I will Mom. Call me if anything is going on at home alright?. Yes, I'll do the same.  I love you, talk to you later," she smiled at her phone brightly then put her phone in her lap and turned her head toward Sung-ho.

"Are you just visiting Korea," Sung-ho asked, reaching for the magazines in the pouch of the seat in front of him.

Jessa was pleased that someone wanted to learn more about her, as it is something that rarely happens to her, "Oh! I'm a photographer in Toronto but business has been slow so I looked for work in Seoul, my parents are both Korean so I know the language, and I thought I would try it out and look at me now off to Korea," she paused, "on my own, I'm quite nervous to tell you the truth."

"Well, Jessa I think you're very brave taking this step in your career. You have a place you'll be staying, right?" he seemed concerned but she gave him a reassuring smile.

"Oh yes, yes, yes. My work gave me an apartment in a really good area of Seoul and they said I won't have to pay rent if I agreed to stay with the roommate they've given me. So a agreed. I tried to contact them and they said they would arrive shortly after I do, so around 6 o'clock," she grinned again and he chuckled.

"You must like giving people all the details," Sung-ho started pulling out headphones from his carry-on bag, "What do you know about your roommate?"

"Well, they're male, I haven't been told his name though, but they same age as me, 20, and apparently they're in a boy group, I haven't asked the name of it; I wouldn't want to be nosy."

Sung-ho nodded intently, "Be careful of living with a boy, you are a beautiful young girl, make sure you do a background check before you confirm him staying with you," he then leaned his head back, put the headphones in his ears, and closed his ears. Jessa made a small note to herself about Sung-ho's advice and pulled out her book.

It was a peaceful flight.
