Jungkook is my Roommate? BTS Love Story

Chapter 7

Jessa awoke, and did not remember climbing into her bed but brushed it off and got ready for her day.

She exited into the kitchen and on the fridge was a note.

Gone to do some filming for our new music video. Will be back in time to watch the broadcast with you! ~Jungkook

Jessa couldn't help but smile that he had thought about her, and even decided to leave her a note. 

She felt happy that Jungkook and her were close and there was no awkwardness between them like she had worried there would be. Jessa spent her day cleaning and when she had finished that she took her book and went up into the little loft above the kitchen that overlooked the apartment to read. She put in her headphones and turned on her music. 

At 4:15pm Jungkook walking into the apartment, "Jessa! I'm back!" he waited for a reply and there was none. He shrugged, thinking Jessa must not be home and went to take a cool shower.

Jessa thought she heard something and took out one headphone and put it back in after a few moments. 

Jungkook wrapped his towel around his waste and walked out into the living room to put on the television to find the channel his broadcast would be on.

Out of the corner of Jessa's eye she saw Jungkook only partly covered by a towel. She didn't know whether she should make herself known so she took out her headphones and cleared her throat while looking at the wall.

Jungkook jumped and the sudden noise and hid his almost naked body behind the couch, "Jessa! I thought you weren't home, just look away for a second I'll go get some clothes."

Jessa fought the urge to look as he ran into his room but caught a glimpse of his muscly back in her peripheral vision. She made her way down the stairs, tapping her cheeks lightly to cool them down. Jungkook came out of his room shortly after wearing baggy pants and a loose tank top, his cheeks a light shade of pink.

They greeted each other as normally as they could and Jessa tried to explain herself, "I had my headphones in I didn't hear you come in."

Jungkook understood and said it was no problem and that it's just a body. They laughed it off and turned on the broadcast at 5 while munching on a packet of dry ramyeon noodles as a snack.

Jessa was impressed by how smooth the whole performance was but Jungkook still managed to point out some flaws in his performance, "I was too far left, I stumbled, my voice sounds funny, I should've tried harder."

Jessa would try and counter his unfair remarks of himself by saying he performed flawlessly and any mistakes that 'were' made would go unnoticed by fans.

Jungkook felt comfort in her words and started to point out all the things he thought he excelled at she smiled at him when he wasn't paying attention.

"Jungkook," she said; he turned to her, his mouth open slightly, "I just, wanted to say, that you shouldn't be too hard on yourself...you are truly one of the best at what you do and you inspire others to be the best they can be."

Jungkook's eyes fluttered, "No one has ever told me that to my face before."

"I just thought you should know," Jessa said turning back to the screen and reaching into her ramyeon for another bite. After that Jungkook couldn't take his eyes off Jessa, he wanted to hug her and tell her how much he appreciated her saying that but instead stayed silent.

The broadcast ended and Jessa clapped her hands towards Jungkook, he stood and took a bow. 

"I think this will be BTS' greatest comeback yet!" she said grinning her teeth. Jungkook smiled his toothy grin once again. 

Jessa went into her room to finish some of her work to send to the manager in the morning. Jungkook stayed out in the living room on his phone messaging the other members in the group chat.

RM - A successful broadcast everyone, well done! We'll try even harder for the next one!

Jungkook - My roommate, the photographer says that the performance was great, and she thinks this will be our best comeback yet.

Jimin - Jessa, right? She's really cute, wish she was my roommate...

Taehyung - Jungkook want to switch roommates with us, Manager hyung is being too harsh on us. ;3;

Jungkook - Not a chance I'll be switching. Ask someone else to switch.

J-hope - Why not, do you have feelings for her?? ;)

Jungkook put down his phone and pondered on what J-hope had said. 

'Do I have feelings for her?' he thought to himself. Jessa exited her bedroom and yawned loudly; Jungkook stood up startled.

"Did I scare you?" she laughed, rubbing her eyes. Jungkook laughed nervously as he had just been thinking about her and nodded, "I'm just going to brush my teeth care to join me?"

Jungkook followed her into the bathroom and they took turns putting toothpaste on their toothbrushes. The swishing sound of the toothbrush in their mouths made them giggle. Jessa was the first to spit out her toothpaste and a small bit still remained on the side of her mouth. Jungkook let his toothbrush hang in his mouth as he took Jessa's head in his hands and used his thumb to wipe of the excess toothpaste; he crinkled his nose and rinsed his thumb. 

Jessa and Jungkook both laid in their beds staring at the ceiling not being able to sleep. Jessa's phone then buzzed on her bedside table. She read the message. 

Jungkook - Hey, tomorrow I have to dye my hair for the comeback, can you help me? I'm hopeless when it comes to those kinds of things.

Jessa - Of course I'll help! Sleep well Jungkook, sweet dreams.

They both set down their phones and had smiled plastered on their faces. After a few tosses and turns they both managed to fall asleep.

Jessa felt someones hands grasp around her waist from behind. They held her firmly and pressed themselves against her back. She tried to turn to see who they were but she was unable to. She struggled to get away from this persons grasp; fear rose in her. She tried to scream but nothing came out, tears began to form and suddenly the person entrapping her was gone. She felt the evil presence was gone and replaced with something else.  Jessa turned to see who is was and---
