Love and Betrayal [COMPLETED]

Hometown

The next day, I informed everyone about my plan. I wanted to go back to my hometown. I wanted to go back where I lived. I want to reminiscing the moments. Mom looked sad and she started to stop me.

''I'm glad that I have you all but.... I want my old life back. I'm sorry. Please let me go.'', I told them.

''I understand, Jeanne. You can go'', my father gave her permission.

''Honey, but...'', mom looked dissatisfy. 

''She's grown bigger Riana. Let her make her own decision, OK?'', he tried to persuade my mom.

Finally, she agreed. My sister told me that she wanted to come with me but I told her to take care of her shop. She is getting many orders and I'm sure she is busy with her business.

''But with one condition.'', dad said.

''I will buy the house you stayed last time and you cannot say anything. I will hire some people to clean the house. And lastly, you have to let Jackson send you there'', he demanded.

I agreed.

 The next day, I left my big house and arrived at my old house. The house was fully furnished and cleaned. 

Wow...

 I didn't expect that dad will make it quickly.

''always lock the door. See the peephole before open the door. Then, call me if you need money. If someone tries to misbehave on you, just call me. And....''

I hugged Jackson.

''OK OK, I know it. Thanks, big brother'', I tap his shoulder.

He hugged me back.

''Take care OK?'', his tone looked worried.

''Ok, don't worry about me'', I told him.

I entered the house. It's small but I felt happiness. 

The next day, I searched for a job and I find a job at one pizza shop. This place was improved a lot. There are still people I know here but they don't recognize me. I just told my name as Jeanne. I actually don't want them to ask many questions. 

One week, I've been here. When I was walking back to the shop after delivering the pizza at one house, I saw Demon on the way. 

That bastard!!

I bought a flower shop from him. It was my dream but he cheated me. How dare him. After I disappear, he didn't inform about the shop to my family. 

I ignore him but he suddenly grabs my hand.

''Hey babe, new girl isn't it?'', he whispers.

I pushed his hand.

''don't touch me bastard'', I shrieked.

''Hey, what happened? Do you know who I am?'', he asked.

I know that he is one of the rich guys in this town. Of course, he is rich. He swindles people's money.

''I know exactly who are you, Demon!!''

''Y....You know my name?'', he looked surprised but he laughed later.

''Of course who doesn't know me here isn't it?'', he proudly says that.

''How dare you cheat me! I bought that shop for my mom, damn it!!'', I yelled.

''What are you talking about?'', he asked me.

''I'm June. The one who invest money to you to buy a shop in the other city!!

''WHAT?? Man, h....how you changed like this?'', he was shocked.

''Where is my money?? You could have given that money for my mom's treatment. She was suffering!!'', I exclaimed.

Demon laughed. He taps my shoulder.

''This is the business baby. Well, you are pretty. If I know that you will be changed like this, I would have tasted you long ago'', he smirked.

I get angry. 

''How could you!!'', I hit his chest but he pushes me until I fell down.

''Hey woman, your mother died painfully. And I don't care about that. You are just someone who runs away from the house long ago. No one will believe you, dear. So, you better keep quiet or else I will make sure you die like your mother'', he smiles smugly and walks, passing through me.

When he said that my mom died painfully, my heart aches so much. Tears brimming down to my cheek. 

''MOM....'', I cried. Some people who cross by that place, just walk while taking a quick glance at me.

 I back home earlier since my shift finished earlier. I enter my parents' bedroom. I remembered back all those memories while sitting on the floor. I hugged my knees while looking at their picture. 

I missed them so much....

I don't know how but I fell asleep on the floor.

''mom....''

When I open my eyes, I found myself on the bed. The blanket covers my body.

Damn, how can I'm on the bed? 

I thought I was on the floor. 

Did I have sleepwalking? God, this is serious. Seriously? Sleepwalking? Jeez...

I go back to my room and then refresh myself. 

My stomach started to make noises. Hmmm.... It's already past dinner time. I fell asleep for too long. I walked to the kitchen.

''Shit, I forgot to buy groceries'', I curse myself.

I open the fridge to take water and I was shocked seeing many things inside the fridge. Vegetables, Ice cream, meats, Chocolates, juice bottles and so many things. I think this will enough for more than two months. It was perfectly arranged well.

This must be dad's work. I shook my head in disbelief. 

I cook spaghetti and eat it myself. While eating, I remembered about Theo. He always cooked it perfectly. I feel sad somehow. 

I wonder how is he now. I didn't see him since the incident at the club. It was the first time he raised his hand to me. I can't blame him though. It was my fault completely. 

At last, I lost my appetite and put the spaghetti in the fridge.
