Everyone smile seeing both of us. After that, mom cut the cake. We are dancing with our couple. When Ryan and I are dancing....

''You should thank me'', he said.

''Why?'', I asked

''Because I told to your dad what happened in the hall at evening'', he smirked.

''You told him?''

''Yeah. He is the right guy to handle such things like this. And my thing is handling you'', he whispers to me.

''Ryan, it's public'', I remind him

''Yeah, that's why I'm controlling myself to the core. Plus, I don't want your father to chop me into pieces. He already has an eye on me'', he looked exasperated.

I chuckled. I lean up and kiss his cheek.

''Thank you'', I said softly.

He smiles. He grabs my hand and suddenly kneels down.

God, what is he doing? I was shocked.

He takes out one box from his pocket and opens it. there are is a beautiful diamond ring inside it. People are watching his action.

''Jeanne @ June, will you marry me?'', he proposed me.

I saw my mom who looked happy. Same goes for my father. Matthew uncle was beside my father, teasing my father, Theo was smiling too. Jackson and Julia see each other and smiled. I didn't totally expect this.

''Yes Ryan, Yes'', I told him happily. Happy tears dropped in my cheek.

Ryan grabbed me and hug me while twirling around. Everyone cheered for us.

Two good things happened today. My father and Ryan.

After the party, I go near to Theo who is looking something on his tab phone.

''Can I come with you?'', I asked him reluctantly.

He lifts up his head to see me. He nods while giving a smile. I was happy. I back home with Theo after that. I sat on the couch. He brought me a glass of milk. After drank it, I put my head on his lap. He looked surprised.

''I want to sleep on your lap, dad''

He smiled while caressing my hair.

''You are not angry with me anymore?'', I asked.

''I never hated you nor angry with you June'', he said it.

''I was on a big mission. I need to find Jeanne's killers. That's why I avoided you. I don't want anything happened to you. I don't want to lose you too'', his voice was soft.

I was shocked. He cares for me. He says that he doesn't want to lose me. So, that's why he avoided me. 

Shit, how stupid I am.

I lift up my body and see him.

''God dad... I'm so sorry'', I felt guilty.

''it's ok dear. It's not your fault'', he said while smiling.

''I often blame myself for giving up on you. I wanted to search for you but I don't want to. I'm a bad father in the world. I'm scared that if I found her one day, she will despise me.''

''dad....'', I hugged him.

''I was so happy when I found out about you. Honestly, I really wanted to be with you. but I thought you hate me so much. Now I know everything. I love you more and more.''

Theo smiled and hugged me back. The next day, in kitchen...

He was cutting the vegetables. He lifts up his head to see me.
