The next day, when I about to enter the elevator, I stopped after seeing Theo. He was staring at me. I quickly turn my sight and walk to another elevator.

Maybe that's better. If he often sees me, he must have reminded about his wife. I make myself busy with the works. Dad calls me to have lunch with him. I just accompany him.

''You didn't order the food?'', he asked.

''No... I'm not hungry'', I told him.

''Jeanne, he loves you. he just didn't admit it'', dad suddenly spoke.

Time shows, 8 pm, I decided to continue my works the next day. My driver drives towards my house but he stopped hallway.

''What the matter'', I asked him.

''don't know miss. The car stopped all of sudden'', he told me.

I sighed. I decided to walk. While walking I realized that I was followed by some guys.

Shit... Since when they are following me?

I take out my phone and send a message to Ryan.

''Ryan, I was being followed. Please come to Gardenia Street. ''

I was about to press the send button but suddenly someone pushes me. I dropped my phone on the ground. They are masked and they holding butcher knife, carving knife, meat cleaver, and other types of sharp knives. One guy suddenly attacks me. I dodge it but I got injured in my hand. Blood flow from my arm.

''Everyone surrounded me while smiling smugly towards me. My heart beats faster. Their knives are pointed to me. My body was trembling. I pushed one of the guys and run out from there. I enter the slum area but I find a dead end inside. One guy throws his butcher knife on me. It pierced right beside my face. I was shocked. I drag myself downwards.

I'm going to die and I didn't tell him that I loved him very much. Theo...

Suddenly my breathing becomes harder. Maybe because I was too scared. I grab my chest while lying against the wall. Some guys laughed seeing my condition.

''Slash her!!'', one guy storm towards me while pointing his meat cleaver at him.

Before that knife touches my body, someone grabs the knife, single-handedly.

Tears flow from my eyes. Other bodyguards surrounded the place. Theo approached me. He carries me in a bridal style. My head is on his chest. I heard his fast pounding heartbeat.
