Caitlyn's POV.
It's now afternoon, and we need to go back to our apartment to get some of our stuff. Paul called us this morning, he inform that he'll pick us up at apartment on four o'clock for rehearsals and sound checks. Sad to say but Niall and I's short vacation was over. Even though I don't wanna end it, I have to, we have to. This is not the last, right?
As I lean my head to the window, like I always do, the rain was finally calm down. When we left the house, the rain was hard and the wind blown up our umbrella. Looks like the earth and weather got a little fight today. Droplets of rain flowing slowly down the window car makes me smile. I put my finger on the window and trace the droplets. I miss this, I felt like I was child a again.
"Take it slow dumbass!" I flinched a little as I heard Niall barked. What's his problem?
"Why?" I asked, as I turn my head towards him and lift up one of my eyebrows.
"They didn-" He wasn't able to finish his sentence as a huge splash of water hit his window seat.
"Bullshit!" He yelled once again. "See? The road is fucking slippery and won't take take it slow? Fuck them! My car is now a mess!" He half-yelled as he threw his hands up in the air and hit the steering.
His face is red and it makes him adorable. He's cute when he's angry. I mean, not really angry. Just like this. He keep on talking shit and I can't control it anymore, I bursts out laughing. Shit, I tried and did my best to control it but I can't.
Once I was done laughing, a huge grin plastered on my face. Niall didn't say any single word as he took a glance on me and finally spoke, "Why are you laughing?" afterwards, he glued his eyes on the road.
"Nothing, you're just cute." I looked at him with a huge smile.
"Seriously baby? I was having a serio-" Again, another huge splash. I can't help but another laugh escaped from my mouth. Why the hell on earth he was always interrupted?
"Why and how the fuck they got their licensed if they didn't know how to drive?!" He exclaimed, I just shook my head and lean again on the window as I mesmerized the falling liquid from the sky.
Twenty minutes later, the weather was still the same and thank God Niall finally shut his mouth up. He's being so talkative this past few hours. Yes, two fucking hours. We're on the road for two hours cause this place was far from the city and Niall said that he wanted to be more careful. I don't blame him though, the road is slippery.
As he turn the wheel to the left road, I saw a mini book store. It looks like my favourite bookstore back in Philippines. Yes, I'm a fan of books incase you don't know. I always write random things on my journal specially when it's raining, thinking and writing while raining gives me the most calming feeling ever. But unluckily, I left my journal at my hometown. I miss reading books, doing essays and journal. I wanted to put my thoughts and feelings there, there I can say what I want and no one will judge me. I want to start another journal again.
"Niall, stop." I suddenly say. He stopped the car and eyebrows furrowed, waiting for an answer.
"I-I wanted to go there. I mean, I'll buy something." I said as I point to the store.
"I'll come."
"No Niall, just stay right here. I'll be back in just ten minutes, I swear." Once I was done unblucking my seatbelt, I reached up for him and pecked on his lips.
I ran towards the store since the rain was just light and the umbrella was on his trunk and I don't have enough time to get it since I am rushing things. I've noticed that there's only one car at the store's parking lot. Great, no crowded people.
