"I really do think you should take the necklace off," Alfred advises her, "Last thing anyone wants is another repetition of what happened this morning."

"I can control myself, Alfred, I'm not a child," she huffs, being escorted to the conference room.

"You're a child to this game, Jamie Clayton," was the last thing Alfred said to her before she was lightly motioned to go into the room.

She stepped in, looking at the men and woman around the table, including Bruce Wayne.

"Jamie, take a seat," Bruce instructed, and she obeyed.

"Introductions," the boy in the red suit reminded Bruce.

"Oh, this is Barry Allen, The Flash," Bruce points at the same boy, "He basically runs fast."

"That's an oversimplification," Barry says, looking a little hurt.

Bruce moves on, gesturing to the only woman there, "This is Diana Prince, or as she likes to be called, Wonder Woman," Bruce places his hand on her shoulder, "She's our rock, strongest of us all."

"Let's not forget about SuperDork," a man in a green glowing suit hovers over to Jamie, taking her hand and placing a peck on it, "I'm Hal. Hal Jordan." He winks at her, "Some girls like to call me the Green Lantern in bed, but you can call me whatever you want."

Jamie chuckles, then looks at Bruce, "SuperDork?"

"He means Superman," Bruce rolls his eyes once more. It was evident to Jamie that Bruce was one short tempered man, one who didn't show much emotion.

"Superman?," she gawks, "He saved my life—."

"We know," a man with long hair speaks up, "He won't shut up about it. He'll be here soon enough."

"And finally, meet Aquaman," Bruce says. Something about him catches her eye, and she cant look away. She glances at his bare chest, seeing the same pendant on around his, just like the one she has on, except this one's a different shade of green. "Arthur Curry," Bruce and Jamie almost say in unison.

Jamie elevates from her seat, approaching the man. She gulps, her teeth chewing at her bottom lip. He was tall, had tattoos covering his body, a beard and long hair.  He was well built, like a swimmer. "Are you... Are you Orin?"

His rigid facial expressions softened. He swallowed a breath and gave her a small smile, "Atlena." He proceeded by giving her a hug, her small frame being engulfed in his giant torso. "We should talk."

"Yeah," she nods.

"Give us a moment, we'll be right back," he says to the rest of them.

After telling Arthur about what she saw, she also told him about what she had found out about herself, not only that but also about her family in general

After telling Arthur about what she saw, she also told him about what she had found out about herself, not only that but also about her family in general. He had told her about himself too, and they were soon to realize that they were the twins of Atlanna and Tom Curry, the sibling rulers of the Oceans, but never to return to the City of Atlantis to avoid bringing them danger.

They had since talked about their lives on 'the surface world' as Arthur liked to call it, their passions and their interests. There was a long road to recovery, but they were both up for it.

Since then, they had started walking to the man section of the Batcave, to meet up with the rest of the team. She was still not fully comprehensive on the overall plan and what their goal was, but Arthur had told her that the Dark Lord, or Steppenwolf, would be coming to unite the three unity cubes to summon evil, which would cleanse the Earth of the weak.

As she walked in, she saw what she needed to almost faint. Superman's red cape was in sight, his back towards her. She hesitantly walked up to him, tapping him on the shoulder with confidence, "I just wanted to say that I'm thankful that you—."

Her sentence was cut off by the face she saw, the all too familiar face. She looked at the man in front of her, the supposed 'Man of Steel', the protector of people. But he was just a man, nothing more, nothing less, in her eyes anyways. "Clark?"

"Hi, Jamie...," he muttered.

Her hand retracted and flew forwards, making contact with his face. Of course, no damage was done, but it did feel good to her. "How could you just lie to my face like that every day for the past three years?!"

"To protect you, to protect others," he grabbed her wrists softly as she tried punching his chest.

"Or to protect yourself?," she said through gritted teeth. She ripped her hands out of his grip, getting angrier by the minute. It was boiling inside her like it was on an intravenous drip, coursing through her veins, filling every corner of her conscious decision making process. She was about to blow.

She heard something, something familiar, something she liked. Flowing water. That's when she realized this entire setup was underground, most importantly, under a body of water. She smirked, getting a little edgy. She walked back, staring down Clark as if he was her enemy.

Not only did her parents lie to her all her life, but the one person she had truly fallen for had done so as well. That wasn't setting in too well for her.

She stood beside a control panel, her hand hovering over a red leaver, "Who wants to get wet?"

And with that, the leaver was pulled down and the roof of the Batcave was opening, letting in the water. She smiled, her eyes changing and the pendant glowing. She rose into the water, it practically engulfing her, as she gained momentum.

"This can't be good," Barry mumbles, zipping out of the cave.

While everyone was either suiting up or trying to pull up the leaver, Jamie was already halfway to Metropolis with the speed she had underwater. The tears were definitely masked as she coursed through the blue around her, basically blending in with the water.

Clark flew out, trying to find her through the vast lake. His detection skills were blurred by incoherent thoughts about how he had messed up.

"Hey, SuperDork," Hal flies next to him, "You should've told her, if you love her that much."

"I don't love her," he looks at him funny.

"Sure you don't, buddy," Hal daps Clark's shoulder. "Ya might wanna go after her, you know, make sure she doesn't cause Metropolis to become an ocean."

Clark grabs Hal's arm, "She's not like that."

"And then you say you don't love her," he yanks his arm away, "Go get her, tiger."

"Make sure everyone's okay," Clark sighs, beginning to fly away from Gotham and towards Metropolis.

Clark didn't know if this as real, if the woman that he had feelings for was actually in a dangerous situation like this. All he wanted Bruce to do was to help her figure out her capabilities, her strengths and weaknesses. Not this, he didn't want her involved in this, and subliminally he was thankful that she ran away like she did.
