A/N: I know, I'm sorry. I'm a terrible author, not being able to keep up with my updating schedule. My exams are finally over, and hopefully I can update normally again ^^

I'll keep it short this time wrong, since I might irritating the heck you with long A/N's on every chapter. Enjoy, and tell me what you think!

22: A Reminiscing Dance

*-*-*-*

"Cool night, huh?"

"Ichi?" I asked, tucking a lock of hair behind my ear. He stood up and brushed the excess sand off his jeans as he turned towards me. Smiling, he held out his hand.

"W-Woah.. What?" On reflex, I took a small step back, but he just held out his hand further.

"Wanna dance like how we did back then?"

Uh-oh.

"B-But I kinda forgot..." Lie. I remembered every step clearly, even how to the stage lights focusing on us as we danced through it. I could still feel the warmth of his arms around me back then, how his eyes gave me a soft glow of kindness.

"It's okay, I'll guide you back." I hesitantly took his outstretched hand, and he pulled me into a side hug. This is how we first started our dance together on stage.

He twirled me around and I stretched back as far as I could, as elegant as I could. He pulled me back, taking my hand and lifting me up. I swung my hips, the melody of the music still clearly blasting through my ears.

I can fix all those lies

But baby baby I run though I'm running to you

You won't see me cry

I'm hiding inside

My heart is in pain but I'm smiling for you

Oh baby I'll try to make the things right

I need you more than air when I'm not with you

Please don't ask me why

Just kiss me this time

My only dream, is about you and I

"I missed that song," he breathed out after finally doing the last move, pulling me into his arms. I was in his embrace, and even though it felt warm, I felt something else missing.

I didn't know what it was.

We were staring into each other's eyes, a comfortable silence over us. No words were passed, yet we still understood what was going on. A clap slowly broke our silence, but right when I was about to pull away, Yoichi pulled me closer.

Looking around, a small group of people had indeed gathered around us. Slowly, one by one, they all started clapping, and a red blush crept onto my face. Dang this, why did I not notice them before?

The claps slowly died down, revealing silence, but as I tried to pull away another time, Yoichi's grip held me captive, and soon people around us started chanting.

"Kiss, kiss, kiss.."

Yoichi planted a soft kiss onto my nose, leaving a slight tingling feeling. "May I?" He asked after a few moments, and I didn't know what he wanted to do, but I nodded anyway. His next move shocked me, but I had somewhat anticipated it before.

He planted his lips onto mine again.

He made sure to plant a soft kiss. My eyes were still open, his, closed. After feeling his lips moving against mine, I finally fluttered my eyes close. We kissed, not pulling apart, not knowing how long it was. The wind was around us, but our warmth kept each other from cold.
