{I apologize for the HUGE delays. My depression has been extremely difficult to get a grasp on these last few months and medicine just doesn't seem to work like it used to.  However, lets hoist ourselves up by the bootstraps and give this another go, yeah? I appreciate everyone who follows and supports me, you all are very wonderful.}

"I want you to start from the very beginning. Tell me about your childhood."

"My childhood?" Kyran tilted his head to the side. "Why the sudden interest in me?" He gave her a smirk and she rolled her eyes.

"We are going to be working together in the future. I think it's an appropriate question. Tell me why this Estate is so different from the outside world. Why does this place stay so secluded and deathly quiet on the inside? Even when the maids walk by me I cannot hear their thoughts.. but outside of the estate is a little different.." He bit his lip and nodded, "I never meant to perplex you in such a way, I only intended to make life easier for you during your stay here. It's one of my abilities, I can.." He seemed hesitant, as if he were weary of revealing his demonic abilities to her. Could he trust her? He wanted to. "Among other things, I can control my surroundings, even more so within the recesses of this Estate. My powers are at their strongest here.."

"..Are you saying .. you can control something as complex as sound or .." He cleared his throat and looked down at her taking a moment to admire her. "I am able to control my surroundings down to the very particle. This includes sounds, objects, people..-"

"Are you telepathic?" He smiled at her sudden interest in him. "No...it's a little bit more complicated than that... how about we just talk about my childhood instead.."

"Do you think I will not understand?"

"Of course not, it's just a very long conversation I'm not ready to have. All you really need to know is that I have complete control of my surroundings no matter where I am."

"I see.." Celine had never heard of such a vast ability. She had read many books about different demon abilities and none seemed to come to mind at his explanation. "Does it...have a name?"

His brows raised and he coughed, "Umm, no, no not really. It would fall in the manipulation category... perhaps particle manipulation would be a narrow way to describe it. Even though there is more to it than that.."

Celine looked down at her lap for a brief moment before commenting, "You help me to..block out thoughts?"

"I try."

"..Why?" He looked down at her and bit his lip lightly. "Because I can?" A mischievous smile crept across Celine's face, "What exactly are you up to? You bring me here often and you're so nice to me and you're a pure gentleman..have you been talking to my father?"

"Have you?"

"Well of course, he's my father..but..you know what I mean.."

"Do I?" He smirked and she blushed and looked away from him. "Just tell me about your childhood please.." He nodded, "Very well then. I will tell you everything if you agree to a few conditions.."

"Conditions?"

"Of course, I can't just tell you all of the Lex secrets with no insurance."

"Insurance?""

"I'll tell you everything you want to know about me and this family...if you agree to sign something."

"And what would that something be?"

"A marriage document." Celine stared at him with utter shock staining her porcelain features. He wanted her to marry him?? For a bunch of secrets?? What kind of secrets were they?! Her mind was racing and her curiosity was killing her. Though he was devilishly good looking, she couldn't just agree to marry him without discussing it with her father. Or could she? What would this document entail? As a wife, what would she have to do? Se would definitely have to read it carefully before signing. She paused all thought as she couldn't believe she was even considering it. "I-" They started to speak at the same time but both stopped wanting the other to continue.
