On the way back to the Lex Estate, Viktor laid passed out against the buggy door and his young bride to be laid across his lap in the same state. He had yet to wake up from being knocked out and she had just fallen asleep as she had not taken the news from her parents all that well. Understandably, of course.
"Well, what now, master?" Sebastian called over his shoulder. "Neither of us expected this.."
"We're going to go and talk to him about it."
"And if he gets violent?"
"I suppose we will just have a fight on our hands then." Sebastian bit his lip as he drove the buggy. Things were taking a turn for the worse very swiftly.

Once the blood was cleaned up and disposed of properly, everyone went about their business as Celine sat next to Kyran at the, now clean, dinning room table. "That was quite a show, wasn't it?" She inquired quietly. "Indeed it was. I am appreciative of your help." Celine nodded as she stared at the table, "I'm sure you are."
Kyran arched a brow and glanced over at her, "And what does that mean, exactly?"
"How did you perceive it?" Her red eyes had turned on him for once and he was taken aback at first. "While we're alone, let's have a chat, shall we?"
"I'm listening."
"You're a very nice man, you've allowed me to come here and explore your vast library, and confide in you my truest of feelings while you offered me a true peace of mind. Gratitude is what you have from me, however I wish to ask you a few questions, if that's alright?"
"I've never stopped you before."
"What do you know about the Parcey family?" His brows shot up and he crossed his arms over his chest, "Not much, why?"
"I don't believe that and neither do I believe half of things you've told me."
"Oh?"
"You expect me to honestly believe you block out my abilities just out of the sheer kindness of your heart? How naive do you think I am? Don't get me wrong, at first I will admit you had me going along with your little..charade. However, there are just too many inconsistencies in your story. It must be difficult, I can image, constantly having to make up lie after lie to coincide with more lies. How do you do it?"
"Celine I'm not sure I know what you're talking about."
"You wouldn't, I don't suppose. Because I'm not talking to the correct person." Celine smiled and leaned back in her chair, "You see, you lied to me before. Most people would believe you have somewhat of a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hide condition, but it's not quite that. Is it? You made up this enormous story with tons of detail on what kind of powers you possess when in reality that isn't even close to the truth. The man sitting next to me, you, aren't actually here. Well, you are here but you're just a puppet. The real Kyran Lex never leaves the basement." Kyran stared at her through lazy, half lidded eyes as he commented on her long winded elaboration. "You're very intelligent."
"If you think that was an intelligent response, I'm about to blow your mind."
"How did you find out?"
"The first time Leighton made his appearance you walked through a wall while nearly losing your...disguise.. if you will. The thought of a vampire beating you to the bite was enough to bring you out of the basement, because your intentions with me are not as you said. You're a good liar, I'll say that because you managed to fool my father into thinking what you sought after was an innocent business deal. You explained to me the deal between you and my father and how it took you a while but you decided you wanted my hand in marriage, allow me to explain your logic on that, shall I?" Celine crossed one of her legs over the other as she continued, "You've already tried to kill me once, correct? When I contemplated suicide and jumped from the window? That was not me, that was you. Just as this illusion of yourself sits in front of me you are able to connect with people on a kinetic level, almost like my brother. I know this because the only other person able to even semi cancel out my powers is my brother. Once you decided it would be more beneficial for you to spare my life and just marry me, you separated yourself from what would be our common enemy- the demonic council. You pretended that you disagreed with them, and even went as far as to actually verbally disagree with them, to make your story seem true perhaps? Or is it because you have a few screws loose yourself. Part of you wants to kill me while the other part wishes to marry me." His eyes only grew darker and darker the longer she spoke. "You used this situation to kill two birds with one stone because your main objective is to take me as a wife and slaughter what is left of the council. Stop me anytime I'm wrong, please? I've seen your past through glimpses around this estate and I don't deny you have every reason to be the way that you are, but don't ever assume you've pulled any wool over my eyes. My mother might have raised a lady, but my father certainly didn't allow her to raise a fool. Therefore you may have everyone else convinced, but I just wanted to let you know that I know what you are. I dare not call you a monster because of the kind of demon you are, but perhaps because of the kind of man you pretend to be."
