Eren's Savior [Book 2 of Levi's Mate]

Chapter 1

Hello! Author-Kun here! This is the second book, I repeat the SECOND BOOK! If you didn't read the description.

[Eren's POV]

When I awoke, it was dark. I couldn't tell if I was blindfolded or if the room was just dark... there was another alternative but I didn't really want to think about that. Soon a light flew through the room as what seemed to be a rusty, old door opening slightly. Soon the door opened all the way and someone stood in the doorway, the person made their way to me. The boots on the person shoes scrapped the ground, "Ah... I see you've awoken..." I'd know that gravely, rough voice anywhere. "Kenny." I spit. "I see you remember who I am. It's been a long time, huh, Eren?" Kenny growls as he gets to me and squats down in front of me. "Why am I here?" I was getting annoyed, really quickly. "Well to be our little slave... just like you were all those years ago, of course, we'll need to get you back in training..." Kenny sighed and squished his boot into my side. "I haven't forgotten anything!" I kicked him right where it hurts and I was off. My hands were bound sure, but adrenaline kicked in and I didn't need my hands. Stumbling along the long twisting hallways, which by the way were getting me nowhere, this is frustrating. The hallways looked like they had just been placed in middle of the building. That was odd, I took a moment to think, Zeke and Kenny must've really not wanted to me to escape. What if they blocked all the exits, what would I do then? I paused a moment, I can do this, when I saw the light. I was almost to the door when I was tackled by the person I hated most in the world. "Zeke..." I growled. "I could've gone a lifetime without seeing you again," I say and he chuckles. "I see your coming back into the family business." He says and gets up. He grabs my leg and starts to pull me back to the darkroom. "No!" I kick him. "No! I don't want this... never again!" I get up and start to run to the door, nothing will stop me this time, not even if I have a gun pointed at my back. Levi is counting on me, so are the triplets, and so is Cat. My family... I'm not done yet. I barge through the door and start sprinting, I had to get away. I ran through the lot, it looks like Kenny and Zeke had bought a lot with an old, old workhouse on it. The lot was covered in gravel and looked like there were people and busy buildings missing. That was unusual and that made my mind start to race, what had they done to get this land to hide me? I soon stopped thinking when I neared the gate, think, think... how do I get out of this!!? I need to cut the binding on my hands... the only way to do that now is to go wolf. I decided that was the best plan of action and shifted. My bones started to crack and I was soon shrinking. I walked out of the bindings that were on my hands and I jumped the fence. During the jump I scraped my side and cut it. It was a minor cut, but it hurt like hell. When I had made my escape, I ran down the farthest alleyway I came across on a different street, there I met a man. His name was Riner.

[Levi's POV]

It has only been a day since our party was crashed by my dad and Eren's brother Zeke. Cat was not taking it fondly, neither were the triplets, but I guess everyone seems to be on edge since he got captured. I've learned one important thing though, I can't function properly without him. Thinking back now I can't believe I lived without him for 10 years... this is absolute insanity... I miss him. I will stop at nothing to make sure he comes home.

So I am aware it's short.  I need to get back into the habit of writing longer chapters for you guys, gals, and nonbinary pals (does anyone know who I took that from? If you do leave it in the comments). Soooo anyway I'm finishing this chapter at school (on a computer). That means I've gotten a little bit better. There won't be too many authors notes in this book (I hope).
