Eren's Savior [Book 2 of Levi's Mate]

Chapter 7

Hi everyone! It's Friday (not anymore) and if you started school already, I hope you have a good day at school! And if you haven't enjoy the rest of your summer break.

(Okay lemme explain why it's been so long. my bio father and I are having issues again and school is.... a bitch)

Everyone proceeded to the Ballroom, the kids pushing and the parents telling them to slow down. Levi and Eren were the last ones in, kids at their sides. "Now," Levi clapped his hands "Let the dancing commence!" The ballroom filled with noise, laughter, and music could be heard from every room in the house. Cat pulled on Eren's sleeve "Go play, just call if you need me." He touched her forehead. She runs off and the girls follow. Ceil fast asleep in Eren's arms. Levi laughs, "This couldn't be any more perfect." He kisses Eren's cheek. Levi smiles, "May I have this dance?" He says and puts his hand out. "Of course." Eren takes his hand and they make their way to the center of the ballroom. Ceil still fast asleep, they start to dance. Eren couldn't help but smile. "Levi- I want more pups..." Eren says quietly. Levi looks taken aback for a minute before he smiles wider. "More pups? How many are we talking?" Eren just shrugs and laughs.  "I would never say no to more angles running around my house," Levi says and pulls Eren in a little closer. Eren smiles, "I start my heat next week... more pups to arrive." They continue to dance until Ceil starts to whine. Eren hums to him as they make their way back to their seats. Levi ruffles Ceil's hair, "You little squirt." He swipes Ceil from Eren's arms. Ceil squeals and starts to giggle. "Dada! Put me down~" Ceil fake whines. Eren scooped Ceil from his fathers' arms. "Why don't you go play with your sisters, I'll be right here if you need me." Ceil nodded and ran off to find his sisters. Mikasa came over, arm laced around Annie. "How are you feeling Eren?" She asked, concern lacing her voice. "I'm okay, better now that I'm with my family." Mikasa laughed. "I understand, I don't know what I would do if Annie was ever in your situation." She then looked to Levi. "You got a good one." She walked away Annie close behind her. Levi laughed at this and called after her, "Tell me something I don't know!"

The party continued, soon Kageyama Tobio and his mate made their way the table. "Ah, Tobio it's good to see you." Levi stood and shook his hand. "This is my mate,  Shoyou Kageyama." Eren smiled and stood with Levi, "It is an absolute pleasure to meet you both. I'm sorry if I caused you any trouble." Eren bowed in respect. "No need for that Eren," Kageyama said. "It was an honor  to serve by your side." Levi smiled, "Thank you, I will no force you to keep working for me if you do not wish too, I will give you formal retirement if that is what you wish." Shoyou smiled and bowed before Levi.  "That is quite alright Levi, I wish to continue working with you. I will serve whenever you need me too. It was a privilege working for you and I enjoy it, but if I may ask, would it be too much of a bother is Sho stayed here when I leave for jobs? He gets incredibly lonely." Levi was about to answer when Eren interrupted him.  "Absolutely! I would love the company and we can have a room remolded to suit your needs, it would be my pleasure as Levi's wife." Levi gave him a look but nodded along. Tobio looked to be overjoyed. "Thank you for your hospitality, it is heartwarming to have such kind friends." With that, the Kageyama family disappeared into the crowd. Levi and Eren retired to their seats. "You've taken a liking to them?" Levi asked as he gazed into Eren's eyes. "Yes," Eren replied with a smile. "I relate to the loneliness, its a feeling of dread and wondering if you're worth it." Eren's smile faded, "I want to be there for him, he's still so young." Levi placed a soothing hand on top of Eren's. "Then I will invite the Todoroki's into our home as well." Eren's smile returned. "Thank you, Levi."

The party continued, Eren and Levi were soon met with their kids "ambushing" them. They both pretended to be scared. "Did we get you? Huh?" Cat says smiling and her younger siblings join in. "Oh yeah, me and your mom were so scared." Levi says making a shocked face. "HaHa! Victory is ours!" Cat yells and her siblings follow in the chant. "Now little ones, I think it's time for bed." Eren says starting to scoop them up. "But mooooooom-" They whine. "No buts, your dad and I will tuck you. If you go to sleep after we leave, we'll go for a surprise tomorrow." Eren promises and they cheer. Levi picks up Cat and Rachel. Eren and Levi tuck their kids in, "Good night my little stars." They all shout good night back and Levi closes the door. They both took their seats and continued to chat with their friends.

As quickly as the peace started, it soon ended. "Master Levi! Levi!" A voice shouts from off in the distance. The ballroom quiets as Levi stands from his chair and raises his hand "Clear a path." The whole crowd split in two and the man came running. "Can I speak to you and Master Eren in private please?" The man said with shaky breaths. "Yes." Eren reached his other hand out to Levi and they walked through the path, to the door. Levi waved his hand, "Continue the party we will be back shortly." Levi says and the sound erupts again. The door shuts quietly behind them. "What do we need to discuss?" Levi asks the man. He straightened, "Master Levi, Master Eren, Grisha Jaeger's body is missing."
