Eren's Savior [Book 2 of Levi's Mate]

Chapter 3

Sup my Lizards, (that's what I'm going to call you guys from now on, don't take offense, I love lizards a ton) I'm back... my step sister was playing some music from the live action Beauty and the Beast, it gave me inspiration to finish writing this chapter. I've been having a rough couple weeks, so I apologize.

[Levi's POV]

I sat up quickly, drowning in my own sweat and tears. I had another nightmare... I can't remember what it was about... something wasn't right. I swung my legs over the side of the bed and quickly went into my office. I sat in my office chair and scheduled a meeting, I need to make a few things clear to my workers. While I was in the middle of marking everyone off the list for the meeting, I got a phone call. "Hello Levi..." A raspy, old voice spoke into the phone. "Hi... Kenny." I spit his name in disgust. Kenny chuckled, "It seems your lover boy has escaped our grasp and we cannot find him... he was pretty banged up when he escaped too." "Why are you telling me this?" I asked, rage almost blinding me from sanity. I would kill him if it was the last thing I did, and that piece of dirt Zeke to. "For all we know, he could be bleeding to death in an alleyway." Kenny replied and hung up. I took the phone down from my ear and looked at it a moment before I completely lost it. "Shit!!! Shit!!! SHIT!!!." I started kicking things. I'm going to send him to the pits of hell! Suddenly I heard a tiny knock on the door. "Come in..." I said quietly. In came waddling Cat, with three babies in her arms. "Daddy... are you okay?" She looked up at me with cute sleepy eyes. "I-Of course I am... I just miss your mom is all..." I said to her and sat back down in my chair. Cat comes over and puts her hand on my leg, "Don't worry Daddy... I miss mom too." She says, "Ceil was crying... I don't know what to do." "O-Okay... I'll take care of him." I held my arms out open wide waiting for my beautiful sapphier eyed boy to be put in my arms.
Ceil stopped crying as soon as I cradled him in my arms. I realized something, I don't want anything to happen to Eren... but I knew he could handle himself, I need to look out for my children right now. I hate to do this, but I need to keep them safe at all costs. I pick up my phone and make a quick phone call to Erwin. "Hi... it's been a while." I say when he answers the phone. "Agreed, but you never call unless it's something important... what's up?" He replies back. "I need you to call a meeting... a code red." I stand up holding Ceil trying to lull him to sleep. "Levi... you can't do that suddenly after all this time it's-" I cut Erwin off. "This is my fucking job and I'm the boss. You will not argue with me, and I demand the best soldiers and nanny to be sent here ASAP." I can hear Erwin smirk through the phone. "Yes sir, it's good to have you back." Erwin hangs up and about twenty-five minutes later, I hear a knock on the front door. When I open it, Erwin is standing there talk and proud. "Ah, you made good time." I give him a smirk. I hand him Ceil after he comes in, "Watch him, I'm going to go position the soldiers." I say and walk away. I had dismissed Eren's old nanny because I didn't want her to be caught up in this, I still pay her, but I want someone with more protection experience for now.

[Time Skip]

After positioning the soldiers, I decided it was best to go back and check on Erwin, after all I did leave him with one of my precious children. When I walked in I was slapped in the face by the smell of food, I walked into the kitchen to see Ceil giggling and playing on the counter, I had to stop myself from swooning.Erwin looked at me as soon as he heard footsteps coming his way, he was bent over s boiling pot of water. "What are you doing?" I asked him looking into the pot to find pasta cooking. "I was cooking, sir." I smirked at him. "This sure brings back old times," I slap him on the back playfully. "Keep up the good work, I'm taking Ceil." I pick up my boy and start to walk away when I remember, "By the way, you and Armin are the nanny's I'm hiring." I walk out and walk up the grand spiral staircase to the babies room. I set Ceil down and start to play with him on the floor. I wasn't really paying attention to anything else, when Ceil laughed it reminded me of Eren. Don't get me wrong I love Rachel and Amanda, but Ceil reminded me so much of the love of my life it wasn't even funny. I guess Ceil just holds a higher place in my heart then Rachel and Amanda do... I can't really explain it though, when your staring at your pups for the first time, you see which one clicks with you the most, Ceil was the oldest. He was different, he had blue hair, and bright sapphire blue eyes you could fall in love with at a glance. I heard a knock upon the door. "Yes?" I asked picking up Ceil yet again and carrying him to the door with me. "Sir," one soldier says through the door. "It's time." I open the door and walk into my room, the soldiers following me. "Give me ten minutes." I say and they salute and walk away. "Yes Sir."

[Small Time Skip]

I finished bucking my straps and walk down into my office to see everyone waiting and in uniform,
"Let's get started, shall we?" I say.
"Yes sir!"
