Eren's Savior [Book 2 of Levi's Mate]

Chapter 5

[Levi's POV]
"What the hell do you mean, you 'found him'?" I slam my hands on the table. "W-Well Captain, w-we did find him... but we cannot pinpoint his location." Levi glared, sighed, and then massaged the bridge of his nose. "Then, drop some guys there and find him." I growled, why are people so stupid? Erwin busts through the door, panting. "Levi, it's Ceil. He's sick, I need you to come with me." I bolt up. "Where is he? That's my little boy." Erwin leads me through the halls of my house, until we reach the nursery. "He's here, Hanji was looking at him-" I open the door to find a very, very pale Ceil in Hanji's arms. "What's wrong with him?" I growl, snatching him out of her arms and putting him in mine. "Levi, was Eren ever sick as a kid?" Hanji asked me. I look at her puzzled, but respond to the question. "Yeah, he had a few medical issues, sever asthma was one. And he couldn't be away from his mom for too long-" I stop myself, for looking at Ceil and give Hanji a look. "We need to find my wife. Now." I keep Ceil cradled in my arms and turn towards the doors. "Hanji, protect my children with your life. If they have a single scratch on them, I will kill you." I walk out of the room to try and find the men I spoke to earlier. I'm guessing Erwin had walked off somewhere so I was on my own. Then I think, I told them to send guys out. I grab my phone and go outside. "Hey! I'm going with you." I get into the small sized plane. "Sir, you have-" I stopped him. "I am very aware. He's sick and he needs his mother. My children need their mother. I need him too, so let's go." The plane takes off and I look down. "I'm so sorry," I whisper rubbing his cheek. "If I'dev been quicker that night then maybe-" I feel a tear slip down my cheek. I wipe it away roughly. Ceil looks at me, and puts his hand on my cheek. "Just like your mother." I smile down at him. He smiles right back as I put my hand on his face. His fever seems to have gone down, thank the moon goddess.

[Timeskip]

We landed, Ceil had fallen asleep mid ride. I was glad, if anything the second thing he needed most was sleep. I get out and stare at the men who care with me. "Who here has kids?" Two men stepped forward. A very tall raven, not taller than me, and another male about the same height as the raven, with red and white hair. "So I am guessing you both have an omega or beta at home? Taking care of your pups?" I ask and they both respond at the same time. "Omega male and yes." They look at each other and share a knowing glance. "State your name and how old are your children?" I say and the raven responds first. "Kageyama Tobio, Sir. My eldest is 3, my oldest litter are 2 years old, my youngest litter is 6 months." I nod. Then the red and white responds "Todoroki Shotou, Sir. I have a one year old and my omega is four months pregnant, due to deliver soon." I nod again. "So you both know what it's like to want to protect your pups and your wife's with your life right?" They nod. "Well, mine got abducted and I couldn't do anything. He left me with four children, who I love very much, but it's hard to do this by yourself. Do me a favor alright, help me out and I promise all of you," I look at the rest of them switch my focus back to the men in front of me. "I promise I'll get you back to them." They all cheer. "Let's go!"

Boom!

"Hey!" I shout. "Someone pinpoint where that blast came from. Let's head in it's general direction. "Kageyama, Todoroki, with me. Everyone else air out and see if you can find the spot." I walk with the two men following me, Ceil still in my arms sleeping peacefully. If I couldn't see his chest going up and down right now, I would lose it. I sigh and rub the bridge of my nose. "I forgot how tiring this is." "What do you mean, Sir?" Todoroki asks me. "Well, we weren't in operation for a while, I'm sure you noticed. I didn't have anyone out on calls, or working jobs. I was doing it all myself, if I had to," I pause and look at them. "My wife would've kill me if he'd known." I smile slightly at that. "But, let's see. Kageyama, how many pups do you have?" I ask him, walking towards where the devastation looks pretty bad. "I have 13 pups in counting right now Sir. I do believe my omega is pregnant again. He usually produces about 6 pups? The first time though, our eldest was born singular." Kageyama laughed. "My mate, Shoyou, was so panicked when we only had one. He was terrified, he thought maybe he was infertile. He was also scared that he disappointed me, although, I don't know how he could ever think that." Todoroki cracked a smile at that. "Yeah, my Izu is the same way. He was forced into a relationship before we met, his Ex beat him," Todoroki growled. "I would kill him if I ever got my hands on him, but he made him so insecure, he hates his body, he thinks he's useless, or that he's worth less than an alpha." I growled at that, "How could someone ever do that? My wife's father and brother did that to him almost his entire childhood. He believed, until I met him, that he was less than an alpha. And that no Alpha, or anyone, for that matter would love him, because 'Omega's are weak'. My wife is in no way weak." I paused and looked at them. "He's been training to fight since he was young. Wanting to know how to protect me, and our family. But you guys can probably agree with me, Omegas deserve way more respect than us." I say and I can see them nodding. I smile down when I feel Ceil start to squirm. "Hi." I wiggle my fingers in front of his face. He giggles. I look up, we are about 50 yards away from where it blew up. "Let's go find mommy, yeah?" I ask Ceil, he squeals and I take that as a yes. "Let's go." "Pull out your weapons." I command. Todoroki and Kageyama pull out their weapons and follow me as I pull out mine, keeping Ceil close. "Forward." I say, motioning with the hand that held the gun. I stop when I hear footsteps approaching, I turn back. "Stay behind me. Three people approaching, from the north." I grip Ceil tighter too my chest and find a spot to hide, Kageyama and Todoroki following me. I look at Todoroki, "Here," I say and hand him Ceil. "Protect him with your life. A scratch on his head-" Todoroki cut me off. "Yes Sir." I nod at him and then Kageyama. "I'm advancing. You guys cover me." I run out first, gun raised, ready to fire, when to my shock, Eren runs at me, gun pointed right at my chest. "Eren, I swear to god if you shoot me." I say, lowering my gun and giving him a fake look of disappointment. He stops, stares, and runs to me, gun lowered. "How did you get here?" He says, rubbing his thumbs on my cheeks. "Where are the kids? You didn't bring them with you, did you? I swear to god if your brought our year and a half year olds out here, Levi." I grimace at him. "You know what Eren? Shut up and let me kiss you." I pick him up and kiss him. He tries to take the dominant roll, i bite his lip and murmured "I think not." He smiled and pulled away. I set him down and called over to Todoroki and Kageyama. "Oi! Get over here. It's safe, coast is clear." I yell and they come running to me. "Sir, his fever picked up again." I take Ceil from Todoroki. "Eren, he's sick." I say turning to him with Ceil in my arms. Eren looked and I could feel so many emotions going through him. "Aw I'm so so sorry baby." He said taking Ceil from me. Eren rocked him back and forth, putting him to sleep instantly. "Let's go, Levi I have some business I need to finish," he says motioning to two other people. "And who said you could go?" I say teasingly. "It's not like you want to come with me or anything." Eren said giving me puppy dog eyes. "It's fine, Treasure, you don't have to pull my arm." I smirk at him, I turn to Kageyama. "You heard what he said, call in the reinforcements. Treasure has been found, and we are following in pursuit." He nods and takes out his cell and calls the reinforcements to us. Eren giggles at Ceil's little snores. "So, what's the situation? And why do you smell like a-" I scowl. "bar?" "Well as for your first question, those two men over there," he points to the guys he was with. "They took me in when I escaped Kenny and Zekel. Their daughters were recently kidnaped and I promised to get both of their children home safely. As for Bar smell, I've been working at their bar." I growled. "Perverts go to bars Eren. Perverts! And I wasn't there to protect you-! I know you can take care of yourself, but that doesn't mean you take action into your own hands for gods sake! What if I had lost you? What if someone took you again, and I didn't know anything about them? Where they could have taken you, who they were-" Eren stops me. "Listen, I know I made mistakes, I know that. But please, Levi, don't go any further it makes me think-" I interrupted him this time. "Eren, I love you. You know I love you. I wouldn't give you up, or our kids up, for anything else in this world. You mean so goddamn much to me." I ruffle his hair and pull a small box out of my back pocket. "You left these." I say and open the box. It held his wedding ring and the necklace his mom always wore. For the time being, he wouldn't look at me. "Eren," I say. "Eren look at me." I commanded. He looks up with tears in his eyes. "I'm not mad at you, I could never be mad at you. I just- I worry, you know? Just like you worried about me and my father, just as I was worried about you and your father or your brother." I say and wipe the tears from Eren's eyes. "You mean so much more to me than you could ever know, we met all those years ago, do you remember what happened?"
