Chapter Six

[TW BLOOD AND LANGUAGE]

[Levi's POV]

I barge into the room first, people turn to look with shocked faces. I see, who I am assuming, are the two young girls were here to rescue on the floor in a ball together. «One is bleeding, someone is injured» Eren nods and pulls two guns out of his holsters. "Go, Levi." I run and start pouncing on the people closest to me, tearing off limbs or even heads with my razor sharp teeth. In no way was I a fan of blood, it tastes gross, but sometimes, it's just what has to be done. Eren made a point of shooting down the ones who didn't bleed out right away and were trying to get away and the people who were coming after me because I took their comrades down. Everything goes quiet for a moment and then I hear "Levi, cease." I stop and pad over to Eren, laying down by his feet. «Feel free to put the girls on my back, I'll carry them out» I say and Eren nods. He picks up the smallest pup and puts her on my back, along with her sister. "Okay," Eren says, "lets get going." I follow behind him silently. My eyes monitor the hallway as Eren walks in front of me. I quickly stop and reach out to Eren.  I pull him back so he's directly in front of me. "So it seems you've come back..." Girsha Jaeger stands tall at the end of the hallway. His face covered in scratches and ugly looking bruises. The closer I looked,  I realized he only had one eye. His one eye shown with anger, malice showing all over his face. Eren stood totally rigid, not believing what was before him. Eren soon snapped out of whatever trance held him in place and instinctively reached for the children on my back. As soon as they were safe in Eren's arm, I made my orders clear. <<Run>> Eren looked at me, displeasure in his eyes. I started back at him, <<Go>>.
Eren took one look at me, then to his father. He started sprinting the opposite direction of us.
"Oh look whose running away-" I pounced on Girsha. He looked up at me with a smile and laugher followed. He held up a small button, "I wouldn't if I were you," Girsha stated. "I'll kill him now." He moved his finger slowly towards the button. The anger and adrenaline pumped through my veins. He won't beat me, he won't beat us this time. I'm the Alpha, I'm the king now. I opened my mouth, barring my teeth, growling lowly. "Oh you wouldn't." He days and laughs more, now distracted. <<Oh but I would>> and I take his arm in my mouth, I pull, digging my teeth in. Soon enough I spit an arm out of my mouth, Girsha sits, until finally the shock sets in. "You ripped off my arm... MY FUCKING ARM!!" His screams fill the air. His glistening red blood pours from him, into a pool on the ground. I shift back to Human form, to stand above the human trash. "It's over. It was the moment Eren told me the truth." I say, staring at him with cold eyes. "I, am the alpha now." I pick up his little device and crush it in my hand. I take my gun from my hip, and I shoot him. I shoot him in the arm and both legs, he'll bleed out slowly on the floor like the animal he is. "Goodbye Girsha. You'll die knowing you're son will live on." I say walking away with my back facing him.

{time skip}

I get to the top to find Eren sitting with the children in an ambulance, Reiner and Bert at his side. I look at them and Todoroki runs to my side with Ceil cooing in his arms. "Thank you, Shoto. For this, you'll live the best life, no worries in the world." I take Ceil from him. I permit you to go home, with Kageyama after you have someone retrieve Girsha Jaeger's body." He nods and walks off to find Kageyama. I smile at Ceil as I walk over to Eren. He looks up at me, asking silently if he was gone. I nod my head at him and open my mouth to take out a piece of cloth. Eren smiles at me and picks Ceil out of my arms. "Let's go home, shall we?" I grab his hand. "We shall."

{time skip 3rd person}

As soon as Levi and Eren returned home, their house was packed to the brim with people. Cat had grown quite a bit and it was coming upon her 9th birthday. When Eren walked into the Nursery, Cat spun. She processed what she saw. "Mommy!!" She screamed and jumped into Eren's arms. "Oh how I missed you, Cat." Eren squeezed her tightly. "Have you been behaving for your father?" She giggled, "Of course! I'm a princess after all." Both Eren and Levi smiled. "That's my girl. Now where are your sisters?" Giggles spill from the room. "Hmm... where could they be..." Eren looks around and spots four little feet from under the bed. "They most not miss their mom, that's okay I'm leaving anyway." Eren makes fake walking away noises and both girls scream. "Mama!! Come back, mama!" They get our from under the bed and run to Eren. Eren swoops them up. "Theirs my girls!" Eren smiles as tears well up in his eyes. "Oh you've gotten so big." He squeezes them, Levi smiling in the background with Ceil in his arms. He starts to squirm and Levi sets him down and their children reunite. "Now," Levi crouched down "we're having a welcome back party for your mom, now let's clean up and go party!"
They all light up. Cat grabs Eren's hand and pulls him along to her room, the toddlers following behind. Eren picks her out her favorite pink princess gown and helps her put it on. "You three, lets get you dressed while your big sister finishes." Eren scoops up all three of his baby's and takes them to the Nursery. Rachel and Amanda go for different colored gowns and Ceil decides on a pink dress shirt and black shorts. Eren helps them get ready. "Go find your big sister while I get ready." He ruffles their hair. He walks to his and Levi's bedroom and searches through the closet. He decides to stick with the theme of gowns the girls have chosen. Eren grabs a blue gown, his mother's diamond necklace, and his crown. When Eren was a kid, he enjoyed pretending that he was a princess, his mother was amazing about it. His father, not so much.  He grabbed his tiaras from when he was younger. He gave one to Cat, Rachel, and Amanda.

{time skip Eren's POV}

I walked down the stairs, triplets in my arms and Cat by my side. We get half way down and I set the girls down to walk with Cat. Ceil cuddles into my chest so I don't let him go. We all go hand in hand down the stairs into the front room.  All my friends and their kids greet me, everyone dressed up. Levi stands at the bottom of the stairs, as soon as he looks up at me, we're the only two people in the room. I walk down to him and he announces we will be moving into the ballroom.

Hi! It's been so long and I'm so sorry. Updates will resume as scheduled :) I meant to update yesterday because it had been exactly one year since the last time I updated this story 😅.  I've had a lot going on recently and I'm about to start school again. Last year was stressful and I couldn't handle the work and my online life. But! I am back now and will try my best to continue the updates throughout this year. I might update sooner, but the next update should be out by the 16th. And as an apology I will try and keep the updates long and at least once a week. I'm so happy!! The first book has gotten up to 59k reads... and I can't you guys are so amazing! So, if you want a Q&A, comment and ask a question (or as many as you want) it can be about the book or about me.
