After hanging out with Pete until late, Patrick went to his apartment, stopping by to pick up his mail first. When he noticed quite a few letters, he silently cringed to himself knowing what it could be.
He arrived to his apartment on the fifth floor, after fumbling with his keys, he got in and sighed. He closed the door behind him and leaned back on it, his back sliding down until he was sitting on the floor.
"Lets see what I need to worry about now.."he mumbled to himself. He looked through each letter, bringing himself closer and closer to tears after scanning each one.
"Electricity.."
"Water.."
"Phone bill.." he trailed off, letting out the biggest sigh at the last letter.
"Rent." He finished.
In frustration he threw all the letters and watched as they flew across the hallway of his entrance. Even having two jobs, the money wasn't piling enough, without Andy, things have gotten much harder.
"Andy..." he whispered, tears rolling down his cheek.
"I don't know how I'll be able to do this all on my own." He kept going.
"Why did you have to leave dammit!" He yelled, not caring if people could hear him since he was against his door. The stress was getting to him, and all he could to ease it was to cry tears he always keeps in.
"I just want you back." Patrick sniffled, missing the red head with colorful tattoos. He could feel the color draining from him after each sob he let out.

The blonde eventually fell asleep, at the same spot he sat since he came home. His legs were pulled to his chest, his arms laying on his knees. His head gently rested on them, snores quietly leaving his body. He was too exhausted to move, after he dried his face from tears, a wave of tiredness hit him.
Soon his phone lit up with his daily alarm, startling the sleeping bartender. His neck was hurting from the position was in, which also gave him a reason to wake up. Finally lifting his head, he groaned from the soreness of laying in the same spot.
He rubbed the tired from his eyes and got up to take a shower, yawning as he stretched his arms. (I yawned while writing this)
He got in the shower after stripping his clothes and let the hot water soothe his physical form. While the water cascaded down his back, Patrick's mind wondered into thought. He remembered the conversation Pete and him had last night and an idea sparked up.
Maybe he could move in with Pete, just until he had a better job to support himself. A new hope filled the small blond, he wanted to tell his best friend straight away from the excitement.
What if he become a burden though? He didn't want his own problems to weigh down Pete, he was a free spirit.
He stepped out the shower and put on his black framed glasses along with a maroon cardigan and black jeans. He stepped in his boots and rested his fedora on his head. Patrick then made himself a cup of coffee, warming his cold hands.
Afterwards, he put on a jacket and stepped out his apartment, walking to the library he worked in the morning. It wasn't as big as Barnes and Noble but it was a good size, it almost felt like a second home to him.
He stepped in and was greeted by his good friend, Elisa. She organized the books and helped customers find what they were looking for.
"Hey Patrick." She spoke softly. Patrick waved, checking himself in on time.

The day was going slowly, Patrick only checking in a few books, he sighed to himself as he remembered all the bills piled up in his apartment. The bell of the entrance ringed, alerting the librarian. He looked up to see his landlord, Hayley, walking to him.
"Hey dude!" She greeted. Patrick smiled at her, they weren't exactly close friends but she always had a happy vibe. That's when an idea popped up in his head.
"Hey Hayley, can I ask you something?" He asked, biting his head nervously.
"Yeah dude, what is it?" She asked curiously.
"So uh..times have been tough since... ya know. And it's been hard paying everything. Is it alright if I can move out? I'm thinking of staying with a friend until things get better." He said, the bright girl thinking deeply to what he said.
"Yeah I think I can break the contract, you just have to move out by the end of next month. Since you said money is tough, I'll only require that you pay this month's rent." She smiled kindly.
"Thank god, thank you so much Hayley, you're a life savor." He said happily.
"So who ya moving in with?" She asked.
"Pete." He said, his smile only growing bigger.
