All right, I usually don't do this but I wanna add background to the story. So this takes place in a world where people are black and white, and the only way they get color to them is when they meet their soulmate. It's not all at once, the color slowly develops on the both people the more they see each other. If for some reason one of them dies, the one alive slowly loses color but can get color regained if they are able to find someone else. (must share soulmate bond) so this story will be interesting and I'm excited to see where it goes. Now let's get to it!"Same as usual Pete?" A bartender speaks, his blue eyes looking at the man, Pete, sitting on the other side of the bar counter. He simply nods and looks around the room to spot tonight's one night stand. The bartender sighs to himself, but starts preparing Pete's usual starter drink, whiskey on the rocks.
Pete then turns his gaze to the person sighing, tilting his head slightly at the bartender's attitude.
"Something wrong, 'trick?" He asks, looking at the blond across from him. He simply shrugs in response and hands Pete his drink.
"I still don't see why you do this almost every night Pete, it isn't good for you." Patrick says to his friend with genuine concern.
"I've already told you, Patrick. I just want color in my life." Pete reminded him. He took a good look at his best friend after his response, frowning at how the bartender's color was slowly fading away.
