Alya's POV
"Woo hoo!" I yelled as I started dancing Marinette kinda sorta agreed to come to Adrien's party with me.I looked around me and saw no Marinette. I only saw Nino who was playing a remix that he has been working on all week. I walked up to Nino as the music got louder.
"NINO!! WHERES ADRIEN AND MARINETTE?" I yelled.
"WHAT? SORRY MAN, CANT HEAR YOU OVER THIS SICK BEAT!! YOU CAN ASK MARINETTE! SHES OVER BY THE PUNCH BOWL!!!" he yelled back.
Don't know what he said. I started to get thirty so I headed over to the punch bowl. Marinette! She was standing but all the food stuffing some chocolate chip cookies in her mouth.
"Marinette I've been looking sorta everywhere for you. Why aren't you talking to Adrien?" I asked as I poured myself a cup of punch.
"He seems busy, I think I'll talk to him later."
"No he doesn't," I looked over to find Adrien leaning against the wall alone with his hands in his pockets. Surprised Chloe isn't over there. I make another cup of punch.
"Ayla, you already have a cup of pun-" I quickly put the cup of punch in Marinette's hand.
"AYLA! What are y-" I push her over to where Adrien was standing.
"Go talk to him!" I yell as she awkwardly approaches Adrien.
I watch Marinette talk to Adrien. Adrien starts smiling and takes a step towards her, Marinette steps back and shoves the punch in his hand. She shakes her head with a sad look on her face. What is happening ?!? I wish I could hear them. Adrien takes a step back, he says something with a pleading look on his face. Marinette shakes her head and then runs off. Adrien catches my glance and he starts walking towards me.
"Hey Alya. Can you tell Marinette that I love her just the way she is," Adrien asked. What in he freaking world did Marinette say to Adrien?!?! I have to go tell her what he said.
"Yea...sure Adrien. May I ask why?"
"It's really between me and her. But just tell her I said that...please," he said with a disappointed look as he set down the punch cup.
I just nod my head, yes. I leave Adrien to mope around the punch bowl and try to find where the heck Marinette went.
I knew she didn't go outside cause I saw her run upstairs. I ran up the steps and called out for her. No response. I knew she was up here. I did it again and I heard sniffling coming from the room down the hall.
I entered a room and saw Marinette crying on the clean white couch in the middle of the room.
"Marinette?" I ask as she looks up.
She turns around and I can see her red already puffy eyes.
"Alya...hey what are you doing here?" she asked wiping the tears off her face.
"Just came to check up on you. Adrien told me to tell you that 'he loves you no matter what.' What did you two talk about?" I asked. I was now sitting next to her on this very comfy couch.
"It doesn't matter," she said, her voice hoarse.
"Um...yes it does. He used the 'L' word. Mari you can't pretend like it was nothing. Not to mention after you talked to him you ended up crying, which I'm sorry about that, guess it was kinda my fault. But still you have to tell me what y'all talked about."
She looked at me with an unsure look on her face, she looked back down at her fidgeting hands.
"Can I trust you Alya?" she asked.
"Mari I'm your friend you can tell me anything," I said to reassure her.
"Well there's something I haven't told you yet. And you probably gonna flip when I tell you this. But you can't tell anyone. Not even Nino or anyone else in our class, especially not your family or mine. This just has to stay between us and just between us. Alya I mean it-"
"Ok Marinette. You can fully trust me. I won't tell a soul. I'll keep the secret to the grave if I have to. Just please tell me," I said cutting her off. She starts to ramble a lot.
"Ok...the thing I've been meaning to tell you is that...I...um I...I'm Ladybug.
