I laid in the bed thinking about everything that I've been through all these years. Ever since my breakdown and rampage mode no one doesn't say anything to me anymore. There was a loud knock on my door. It was only one person who knocked on my door,

"It's open!"

I didn't bother to look and see who entered the room,

"How you doing today CB?"

I smile because I truly did enjoy and appreciate her friendship and company.

"Zimboy?"

I jumped up at the sound of the deep male voice. When I saw who it was I frowned,

"Ten years hasn't passed yet, what are you doing here?"

It was the guard who had dropped me off nine years ago,

"I know and I'm putting my life on the line by coming here."

I sat up straight and stared at the guard anticipating the next thing he said out of his mouth,

"Zimboy, Mansen has stepped down from being a judge meaning the deal is off. I was told to leave you here but I just couldn't bring myself to do that. I come to take you back to the States, I don't know what Mansen has under his sleeve but I'm pretty sure it's more dirt."

The guard rubbed his hands together and stared at the ground as he continued,

"After I take you back to the States I'm going to have to disappear. I know that Mansen is going to offer big money to have my head on a silver platter for your return but I don't care."

I slowly stood up and stared at the guard,

"Why? Why are you helping me?"

The guard leaned his head against the door,

"I've been called a sell-out by many of my kind but it was something about when you said it to me. It triggered something within me and for nine long years I had trouble sleeping, eating or even looking at my own reflection in the mirror. It made me realize that I really was a sell-out and in the end I would burn in hell from taking someone else's freedom. Who am I to do that to another human being?"

I saw the hurt and regret in the guard's eyes.

"Look man I'm sor-"

the guard put his hand up stopping me from saying my apology.

"You don't have any reason to apologize. If anyone needs to apologize its me for taking a whole nine years to stop being someone else's puppet and defend my race. So with that being said I apologize Zimboy, and I hope that somewhere in your heart or rather it's years from now you find a way to truly forgive me and my selfish ways."

I stared at the guard thinking this whole moment felt like a dream. I slowly approached him as tears escaped his from his left eye. I gave him a handshake and we embraced,

"I forgive you man. We have to stick together, its all love right here."

I pulled back from the embrace as the guard wiped his tears. I landed my hand on his shoulder,

"Thank you for coming back for me."

The guard then nodded his head, I figured he was too choked up to speak. I quickly got dressed and left everything behind. When we got to the car I hopped in the front seat and we drove to the airport.

"So you were just going to leave without saying goodbye huh?"

I jumped from the voice in the backseat as I turn to see who was speaking.
