I was on my way to my dad's house. Ever since Riginal told me that his dad passed away, I was trying to spend as much time with him as I possibly could. Kelvin Kemp was my father and he was seventy-one years old, it wouldn't be long before God called him home. I was locking up my home when I spotted Riginal walking across the street with some guy. I turned my back to them approaching and let out a deep breath,

"Look Reg, I'm not about to fight with you today I got more important shit to do."

"Good, because y'all about to squash this dumb shit."

I turned around to see Zimboy standing next to Riginal. I nearly jumped in his arms when I realized who he was,

"Yooo!!"

I couldn't tame the excitement that pumped through my veins. Seeing Zimboy was the fresh face that I needed in my life to fill the emptiness in my heart,

"How you been Dev!?"

I stared at him unable to stop smiling,

"Aww man! Never mind me, how you been?! Damn!! Boy you couldn't have appeared at a better time!"

I looked over at Riginal who was smiling at the reunion between Zimboy and I. I slowly approached him and put out my hand. Zimboy stared at us two as Reginal stared at my hand and I stared at him. He quickly grabbed me into a hug and patted my back,

"I got nothing but love for you to Dev... I'm sorry man."

We parted from the brotherly love and I patted his shoulder,

"Yo' kid, brothers fight too. It's all love baby."

I felt more than complete in so many ways. Zimboy cleared his throat and my smile widened as he spoke,

"Now that y'all straight and I'm not playing kickball with ya' heads after I knocked them off, we need to talk."

Reg and I laughed at Zimboy's comment as I unlocked my door. My father would have to wait. Reg and Zimboy sat at the kitchen table and I grabbed three beers from the fridge. I passed a beer to each one of them and leaned my back against the fridge,

"Alright, what's going on?"

I carefully listened as Reg and Zimboy updated me on what's been going on with them. I didn't have too much to say about me but the fact that I saw Dana. That surprised Riginal, so he began to question me about her,

"Where you seen that bitch at?"

I took a swig from my beer before I answered,

"She was coming out the bar when I spotted her. Looked like she was paranoid. I haven't seen her since that night though."

Reg shook his head in disgusted before he spoke,

"She better be hiding someplace safe because what she did was extremely foul and unforgiving. Her and Mansen needs to be rottening in a prison as we speak."

Zimboy drunk the last bit of his beer before he spoke up,

"I went to her house today."

I pushed myself up from the fridge and Reg sprung up from his chair. Riginal lightly tapped Zimboy on the arm,

"Yo' why didn't you tell me you seen that conniving bitch?"

I could tell by the way Zimboy gazed at his beer bottle he didn't feel as angry with Dana as Reg and I did,

"Because I went to see her after I left your house."

"Well what exactly happened when you went there? And how did you know where she was hiding?"

Zimboy stood up and walked to the trash can to dispose of his empty beer bottle. I was eagerly waiting on him to answer my questions and the suspense was killing me,

"The guard who dropped me off to that God-forsaken place knew where the twins hideout was. I went there with terrible intentions but it looked like the guilt did more damage to her than I could ever do."

I looked at Riginal and anger flashed in his eyes but we both remained quiet. Zimboy told us the deal that Dana and Mansen had made and how much money was dispersed to her, he also said that Mansen told the guard to leave him where he was even after the ten years was up,

"Well where is the guard now?"

Zimboy looked at Reg,

"He's gone. I don't know where he is and I don't think he will be returning because if Mansen finds out that I've returned, he's going to automatically know it was the guard who brought me back to the States."

I took a seat in the chair that Zimboy sat in. There was complete silence throughout the room.

"What time is it?"

I looked at my watch and told Zimboy the time,

"5:40 p.m."

Zimboy then looked at Riginal,

"I guess I need to be trying to find something to wear for tonight. I need you to drop me off home though."

"I got you."

They both gave me dap and a hug,

"Oh yeah Dev, tonight it's a poetry event happening if you're interested? I can come and scoop you and we can ride together."

I'm nodded my head and smiled at Reg,

"I'm there, I'll be ready."

I looked at Zimboy and gave him another pound,

"It's great to have you back boy. You just made my whole week!"

We laughed. They headed towards the door and I sat back down in the seat I was sitting in. Riginal turned back around before heading out,

"7:30 sharp is when the event starts so be ready Dev."

"Alright, I will."

I heard the front door shut and I silently thanked God for answering my prayers. Hot tears stung my eyes as I thought about having my boys back in my life. They both meant the world to me and without them, my life had lost the excitement that it once blossomed with. I got up and smiled as I took out my phone to let my dad know I wasn't coming today, something important came up.
