OH MY GOD! I can't believe Rose is my 'girlfriend'.

I called Chen as I sat on my bed still in my uniform. The moment he picked up I screamed, "SHE SAID YES!! Rose is my girlfriend. Can you believe it?"

"Hell yeah I do! Dude, I always knew it that she would accept your feelings. Now if you guys have a son name him Chen in the memory of your beloved friend." He joked.

"Haha! You wish. This feels so weird. All my life I liked this girl and now I get to call her my girlfriend. I mean it's like I had this really great dream and now when I wake up the dream is still going on." I rambled on. "You must think I'm crazy right now, talking all these nonsense."

"I don't. I think it's sweet of you to think of her like that." We talked on the phone for a long time, mostly I did the talking part and he just listened to me.

*Next Morning*

After I changed into my uniform, I walked to Rose's house to walk her to school with me. I nervously waited outside her house debating whether to ring the bell or to just get the hell out of here. Right then the door opened and Rose stood there with a toast in her mouth.

"Good morning!" I greeted her. "Good morning! Wait here, I forgot my wallet." She spoke with the toast in her mouth then she walked inside and shut the door. So I waited outside for a few minutes until she showed up again. I smiled at her but realized that she looked down and marched ahead without even looking at me. It was really quiet as no-one spoke a word. She was just a few steps ahead of me but still it looked like I shouldn't cross the invisible barrier between us. I figured maybe she doesn't want to talk as she's busy nibbling on her toast.

We reached school and parted our ways to go to our respective classes. As she walked towards her class I followed behind and tapped her shoulders. She turned around and I smiled at her all the nervousness suddenly evaporating away, "Thank you for walking to school with me. I hope we have a wonderful relationship ahead." I said and walked away.
