I wanted to believe that all of this was a dream. Wanted, but not all things happen because I want them to happen. Just like, I wanted to believe that she loved me back or atleast liked me.
I opened the door and saw Rose standing there. She looked at me with a pitiful face. She looked down towards my hands and gasped when she saw the state it was in.
"Joey..." she said in a barely audible voice.
I walked past her as my shoulders hit her. Despite everything I heard I still loved her. Seeing her face immediately made all the pain go away. I ran away to my house because if I stayed any longer I would've melted and forgiven her. She's really good at acting though. For a second I really thought she was sad at seeing me crying but I know she must've enjoyed seeing me miserable. Her plan worked and she successfully broke my pretty little heart.
I reached home and found Chen sitting on my bed playing with his phone.
"Hey. What took you..." He trailed off when he saw my puffy eyes.
"What happened?" He ran up to me.
I threw my bag on the floor and sunk on the ground, the tears filling my eyes again. I cried in his arms. He tried to comfort me while saying soothing things to me like how everything will be alright and all I need to do is be strong and endure the pain for now.
What a bunch of crap! Nothing is gonna change no matter how much I endure it.
