Chapter 10 - Blind group date

Kana is up to no good. She is quite blunt, but sometimes she even manage to keep a secret or two away from me what she planned to do.

School was another long day. However, tomorrow is the weekend. Which made me really glad. Kana and I was going different way home. As we parted, she grab my arm and said, "Let's hang out. Tomorrow at the grand mall at the entrance. Meet me at 9 a.m., bye."

Without giving me a second to reply, she dash off. I didn't really find it suspicious since we didn't get many chances to hang out and I do want to relieve some stress I have. I haven't told her about me being sibling zoned. And that's what I'm going to do tomorrow.

When I got home, I told mom I'll be heading out tomorrow around 7 or 8 in the morning. Seno got worked up when I said that only to find that I was going with Kana.

"Don't cause her trouble." Mom said.

"Of course not! Trust me, there isn't going to be any boys." I said. "I'm going to go and relieve some steam."

"Okay, okay. Don't come home too late." Mom replied.

"Okay, let's dress you up, shall we?" Seno smiles evily.

That smile, means trouble. I ran to my room and close the door with a slam when closing it. He may be a siscom brother, but his skills in makeup is on fleek. I don't really like makeup and since I may cry while talking to Kana, I rather not put on makeup. I want to forget my homework, today and that day he sibling zoned me.

"Why can't tomorrow come faster?" I ask myself.

I put myself down and flop onto the bed. I spread myself in search of the coolness of the bed. I go on my phone. I even stalk him on social media.

"To the point where this one-sided love can't even move." I mumble to myself.

I went on his page because he's usually active there. His new post, a girl with her faced blurred out. The captions read 'My crush! >\\< I can't show her face due to privacy.' I froze. His crush? He... really does see me as a sister... Now, this is all the more, to let stress go by talking to Kana tomorrow.

"Kana... Your cousin, is really dense." I mumble and tears starts forming. "I have to be strong..."

Even if I wipe away my tears, my chest felt heavy. Love isn't easy to get over with. Each and every time I wipe my tears away, it felt like my chest felt heavier and more tears came.

"Y/n~! Let me out makeup on you!" Seno burst into my room.

"NO!" I got up and cover my face with my phone still on his page.

"Y/n..?" He calls my name.

Through the peek, and the blur of my tears, I could see him coming up to me and grabbing the phone.

"Again?" He ask.

"It's none of your business." I said and with one hand snatch the phone away from him.

I turn the other way and wipe my tears. My face is so corrupt when I'm crying. Seno-nii pats my head. That night he reassured me that I will meet another man, better than him. That I will forget about him. That was my biggest fear though. This was the first time I have cried over any crushes I had in the past.

I went to the meeting spot. I wore a stylish coat with a matching scarf and a hand knit hat by my brother. In the end, I had to put on makeup to cover up the swollen and red eyes of mine and my makeup is water proof. I sigh as I waited for her. I was about 30 minutes early than what we plan.

Snow had already fallen and it was cold.

"Yo, what are you up to?" Killua's voice was loud and clear.

I turn to see him with Kana. My fingernails dug into my palm.

"Y/n!" Kana happily hug me. "I've set up a blind date for you. Enjoy it!"

She heads off and left Killua wondering while I'm here ready to cry my eyes out again.

"What was she doing? Really." He sigh.

"You can go home if you want, I just want to stroll a bit." I said.

"You look cute. I don't think I have seen you in makeup before." He said.

"...... Thank you.." I said quietly.

'If lord hears this greedy wish of mine, I will never ask anything again. I want to spend a day with him and forgetting him tomorrow.'

I thought and look down.

"What's wrong?" He ask.

"Nothing." I said and turn to walk away.

"Let's not waste this."

He holds up 2 movie tickets as I turn and look.

"That Kana..." I said as I sigh. "I'll go."

He grabs my hand and smile. We walk to the booth and hand over our tickets. Then went into the theatre. After finishing the romance movie Kana bought for us, we went to a cafe.

"Kana only said to tag along with you." He said.

"Kana told me that she and I were going to hang out. She tricked us." I said.

"Don't wanna hang out with your brother?" He tease me.

"Not that, it's just.... I want to.." I said quietly.

Great, now I'm just reverting back to that shy y/n.

"I want to settle some stress I have.." I said.

"Then why not talk to me?" He ask.

'Because it's about you, duh.'

"It's.. girl's stuff." I said.

"Then you have a boy you like, huh!" He said excitedly.

"Uh-yeah." I said.

"Me too."

He was as dense as a rock. I thought I told him about my feelings in the begininng... Maybe he didn't take it seriously. Maybe I should be more straightforward. Maybe I should stalk him once more.

"Oi! Oi! Are you listening?" He said as his hand waved in front of me. "You've been out of it lately."

"Uh.. yeah.. So who is the girl?" I ask.

"A really clumsy, close friend, a person who makes you feel like you're relaxed." He said.

'.. I'm clumsy and kind of a close friend... could it possibly be?! Does he like me?!' I thought.
