Chapter 23

"We almost neared Windey." he said in his soft and cold voice. That ran chills down my spine. I dont know why. That feeling, "Me...to his house" was really making me go mad. "Oh..Thats really exciting Rick. God...did you plan any surprises to me?" I asked giggling. "Ohh..you are hoping that? Then you will be really disappointed Windey. But this day is  gonna be special to me for some reasons and you will get to know them soon." He said. That minuite, I felt like butterflies in my stomach. What could the reason be? Is he going to propose me? If it is so, then none in this world could be more happier than me. But, "No Windey. Dont go over imaginative. If this doesnt happen, you will be disappointed for sure." I told to myself. The accelerator went slow and a brake stopped the byke infront of a huge building almost looked like a mansion. It is really aweful. But something made me uncomfortable all of a sudden. This house... I could feel some kind of connection. Though I am unable to figure out what it was, it is making me feel low. "Windey? Dont wanna come inside?" Rick asked pushing me outoff my thoughts. "Ye-Yeah.. Rick. I am sorry but your house really looks connected to me." I said. "Oh..is it.!!! Fine, Come inside." He said, held my hand and walked forth. He took the key from his back pocket and unlocked the door. "Ready for the surprise?" He asked. "What? Surprise?  But you said there isnt..." without letting me finish my sentence, he opened the door and Wowwwwwwww was my feeling at that moment. The entire hall was decorated with baloons hanging from the ceiling, the light from the candles lit up the entire area. There were heart shaped cardboard cuttings hanging here and there. The floor full of pink soft rose petals. It was just like a treat to my eyes. In the exact centre of the hallway, there was a table with two chairs and a box lying on its body. "It that for me?" I asked just like a stupid. "Yeah Windey. Can you expect anyone else deserving this surprise from me?" He almost sounded like a flirt. But i loved it. I really like him feeling me special. I blushed and went inside, near the table and opened the box. Inside was a letter. I opened it. It read...

I didnt knew my life would turn this beautiful when I lost my parents. That day I thought its an end. But then, you came into my dark life and lit all the possible candles to light up my soul. Your portrait and the intoxicated memories I have with you, have left my senses in turmoil. Its damn true, that you had a strange effect on my heart. Are you angry? You sad? You worried? My heart aches with sorrow. My pulses can do anything for you my babe. In all those sorrowful nights, that reminded me of my parents, I stay up listening to my heart beat for sometime. It really comforts me because my heart beats YOU and says DARLING, I AM THERE FOR YOU. The best thing about my life right now is you. You are the only reason for my breathe. Every day on seeing you, my life seems to stop,I see no further. You absorbed me. You sometimes may be my better half or my worst half, but one thing I can say for sure is, you are the half that makes me complete. I promise to be your side today tomorrow and ever after. All I need is just your presence on my left forever. When you are around, I dont seem to need anyone else. Just to say I LOVE U never seems enough. I have said it a million times to you deep inside my heart. I am afraid you wont understand what I really mean when I say it to you. How can so much feeling, so much adoration possibly fit into these three letter words? I dont know. But I promise, I will never let you regret our meeting at any point in your life. It left me speechless. This day, will be my most memorible day. My heart sank into my toes, that minuite, when I realized how much he wanted me. No matter what his past was, no matter what he had done before, I just wanted him. All the world seemed pale before him that minuite. I just wanted to say I LOVE YOU. I turned back and he was on his knees holding a rose. "Will you be mine for ever Windey?" He asked. My cheeks became pink and hot. "Yeah" I said accepting the rose. That sudden glow in his eyes like he has just won a big lottery, his smile, that almost covered his face was just all I needed for the rest of my life. He stood up fast and hugged me so hard that I felt like being squeezed in his arms. I hugged him back and this is the best moment of my life. I wish time could stop leaving us close forever.
