this is not even worth it. i'm legit wearing flip flops in the rain while flying through a forest trying to keep up with this guy.
it wasn't until i fell face first onto solid ground, not dirt. i look up i see the outline of a basketball court in the dark.
the sound of the ball hitting the ground made me look to my left and see hyungwon. he jumps high and nails the ball in the net which makes his hoodie fall off his head.
as if time slowed down he looks over at me whilst i'm too stunned to get up. "why are you following me?" he appears right in front of my face with his hand out. i accept the offer.
"you come here every night to play basketball?"
"sometimes to sleep." i look around for a source of comfort. "on the ground of course. i once woke up and it was raining."
and i'm the psycho...
"i was just curious as to why your mom is always yelling and why you leave all the time at one in the morning."
that didn't sound stalkerish at all.
even if i wanted to expose him what good will a morning basketball player do to damage a reputation?
"well then do you want to watch?"
"why are you being nice to me?" i ask as he throws the ball again. he doesn't answer, just goes to collect his ball. "i was mean to you all the time when we were kids."
"yeah, you judged me before you even got to know me. but i'm not going to act like i didn't feel bad when i did the same."
