this is the most chill i've seen jennie since her break up with hyunwoo, which we don't talk about since kihyun was the reason they ended. now she's eating burgers and fries and laughing at anything that comes out of hyungwon and kihyun's mouth. her happiness makes me smile.

"but did you see his face when you won! he literally threw his jersey in the trash!" kihyun shouts with a mouth full of food. jennie slaps his knee trying to contain herself.

i look at hyungwon who smiles down at his shake as if that was the world. "i really am sorry that we drug you two through so much this week."

"i'm glad that i didn't hit you." kihyun sighs. "then we wouldn't have been sitting here."

"we probably would have. i would have explained the situation and hopefully, we'd be cool. i never get too mad."

"yeah, when hoseok did that stuff to his face he completely brushed it off. i thought he wasn't okay, but he's fine." i look at the boy to my right who is looking at me.

kihyun and jennie give us suspicious stares and i quickly fix my face. "so~ are you two like together? or are you playing us again?"

hyungwon and i look at each other nervously. "it isn't like that!" i defend. "we're really good friends."

"although..." hyungwon starts. "it wouldn't be bad." my mouth hits the table in front of us. "i mean, look at us. in the frame of a month we've been through enough to know that we need to go through more... together."

"are you? is this?" my words were all over.

"be my girlfriend, jacelyn."
