Miku Tails

Chapter 12

Miku stared at the blue wallpaper from inside the temple. she sighed looking at her school calendar, the winter ball dance was coming up and she had no one to go with. She usually didn't go. Miku had stayed up training with Adrian for the whole weekend and half way throughout some of the school days. Miku's body felt tired from learning all of Adrian's water style moves, her hardest one was learning the water dragon bomb. She failed at doing it and had often got knocked back from the spell. Miku was so weak she couldn't even reach for her cell phone that was by her bag. She sighed and fell backwards on her bed staring at the ceiling. lately she was feeling an unknown presence around the temple. Miku heard a knock on her door and looked up as Adrian walked into the room. " You wanna stay and keep training ,or do you want to go back. that potion will only wear off if you get close to your mom. She wont be hurt or affected just super tired." Miku shrugged and got up to run herself a bath. She was too tired to think about going back home. As she stepped in the water and laid down deep into it. She sat in the warm water for ten minutes then got out and went back to sleep in her beed room.

 When Miku woke up she stretched and started to pack her things to get ready to go home. the sun was beginning to sit when she was  slung on her bag pack and headed out. She didn't know were Adrian was, nor did she want to distract him if he was doing anything. She made her way slowly into the forest to find the huge black hole she had come from. Miku was too distracted by the way the sun to see that the wind had started to pick up around her. miku suddenly stopped and looked around when she  heard  rustling in the bushes. suddenly something huge jumped out the bushes. It was the same huge lizard monster but its scales was an ugly green. " are you in league with the same monster that had came here over a couple of days ago?"

no answer

" answer me! was you or was you not?" 

still no answer, just weird snorting. 

Miku couldn't fully control water without fusing with Adrian. She had the staff with her but it would be even more harder to form water. But she had to try something. She backed up some to a small creek. " It's not enough water for the dragon bomb but i got something else i can do. At a blinding instant  she saw the lizard had started running at her. Miku held her hands out in front of her and started to form a water spear, But the water started breaking apart because of the fear of being killed. She aimed the spear at the lizard and chucked it at it. The spear went through the lizard making him stop groaning. Miku blindlessly saw the lizard had shot something at her.Miku saw and arrow flying at her.She barely dodge the arrow as it tore through her shirt before she had the chance to fully dodge. Miku saw Adrain out the corner of her eye as he was following her talking about fish. " Forget the damn fish! transform now!" Adrian looked at her strangely when she ran and reach out her hand to him. Adrain hurried and reacher out for miku when he saw that the lizard had grown ten times as bigger then what it was.  I'm calling you, o great waters of Avalon lend me your strength into this battle!" miku's body flashed a majestic blue when she transformed. after feeling her long pink hair become longer than it was miku flew back to the temple. this time she was going to do the dragon bomb. The lizard was at least the size of the water temple at least. Miku landed right in front of the temples waters when she raised her hands into the air. she felt the water behind her starting to rise, The water its self was heavy on her arms and legs. Miku felt her body about to give when she felt her whole body beginning to shake. the lizard had thrown down its axes at Miku, it missed her in the process but sent her flying, making her skid across the water and into one of the temples pillars. Miku spit up blood as she slowly got up and  raised her hands again gathering water above her. " Miku you cant do it now! try something else we don't have time!" Miku shook her head as she felt the water began to build harshly behind her. " I refuse to give in to the pressure!" The lizard was about to deliver its death blow with one of its huge great axes when Miku finally made the water lie dragon behind her. " Dragon Bomb!" Miku hurled the huge water Dragon at the lizard as it slammed into the lizard, making a huge explosion with water. Miku dropped to the ground as water poured from the sky. The lizard fell down in defeat changing back into its original form. Miku let the transformation disperse as she lay on the ground panting. " i can't believe.... i just did that.." Adrain knelt down beside her. " besides you beat the whole lizard thing on your own, that was some good stuff you pulled back there." 

"huh" 

Adrain picked miku up bridal style, " i knew there was an enemy around the temple. i just wanted to know what you was going to do. you fended off the lizard by one attack without fusing with me. good job." Adrain gave miku a toothy smile. miku smiled and poked his cheek. she didn't let this be known. but the scary unknown presence was still close by.
