Miku Tails

Chapter 20

" Before you open your mouth princess, i'm not here to hurt you. But if you rub me  the wrong way i'll be forced too. Why i am here is regarding you meeting the red dragon yesterday afternoon right?" 

Miku nodded.

" And you know the dragon is me." 

She nodded again. 

" I have a solution on how to save Avalon. but you need to listen carefully. theres a certain magic spell that can defeat the old man that's controlling the run down city. " 

" Old man?" 

" Didn't you see the man in black armor? Tall and big? You probably didn't.. But he's the reason why Avalon's gone dark. " 

"Miku, well if you know this, why didnt you come and say something to me beforehand? " 

The red haired male only gave her a small smile but didn't respond to her question. Miku wondered. This guy was the red dragon from the previous night, and he did help her get out of a bind. But how come he didn't come to her when he first saw her? Before MIku could answer she saw Adrian coming towards her out the corner of her left eye. 

" Kurama. you never learn your lesson now do you?"

Kurama looked over at Adrian and gave him a chuckle. " Oh my look who's here. The weak water dragon. i didn't know you was being tamed by humans again. " Adrian gritted his teeth and in an instant, moved Kurama's hand away from Miku. " We all know your past. do not touch her again." 

Kurama gave that same sadistic laugh at Adrian. " Me? touch a pathetic human that has no power what so ever? This is why i stay away from swine like you. You piss me off with a passion. it's sad that all of us dragons need a puny human to help them in there quest in stopping evil. I bet your princess can't even control her powers yet." 

Miku herself was starting to get highly pissed at the man standing in front of her. Throwing insults at her for no reason? What the hell was his problem? she didn't do anything to this guy. but its was clear Kurama wanted a fight. And Miku wasn't going to back down. " i'm so weak? then lets fight right now. "  The red head gave her a wide smile. " meet me after school in the other world. i'll show you what true fear looks like. " And with that, Kurama walked off. There was a weight of relief that flowed through Miku. But now the scary part was how she was going to actually stand a chance with an actual dragon. 

" MIku... are you sure you want to do this? Your power is still unstable. i don't want you getting hurt." 

Miku looked at Adrian's concerned face and it almost pained her to look at him. " don't worry. ill be okay i promise." Even though miku tried to give Adrian a look of relief she could help that sicking feeling in the pit of her stomach. 

And that worried expression on Adrian's face 

Time skip brought to you by Aria throwing a textbook at Adrian. 

Miku stood in front of the water temple, already transformed and holding her staff. She could feel her heart racing making her more nervous. " Miku calm down. everything's going to be alright as long as i'm here for you." Adrian said into her mind. " I'm here too!" Aria tugged on Miku's arm smiling. Miku almost felt better. motivation from her friends was calming her down. 

Until...

" So the princess of both worlds has actual come to face me. you got guts, kid. " Miku turned around to see Kurama dressed in dark red armor with four huge swords strapped to him. two on his back, the other on his waist. " I'm going to have fun watching you in pain. " he said to her with that same sadistic smirk. 

* this is just a friendly reminder to everyone that i am working on a new book because i play a certain rpg game on my phone and my custom made characters name is "MikuPiku" just like my username on everything. so do not be alarmed. i'm super bad at names. "
