I felt like I was just floating in the darkness not going anywhere, and then I saw the light and slowly floated towards it. Then I was yanked back by an invisible force, and as I was dragged down my pain grew until I was literally seizing in the air waiting for it to stop.

"I disclaim you from being my son" I heard Poseidon say in the darkness as I continued to be dragged down shaking uncontrollably. I then blacked out again, but I saw light in my vision. I looked up the see the blue sky or daytime, and I went to sit up, but groaned and yelled out in pain as I tried. Then I looked down and saw that my chest was still not whole yet and my whole body felt and probably looked broken. Then I felt a tingling in my body, and then it got hotter and hotter until I was sweating and screaming in pain. I felt my bones start to break in many different places all at once, and my chest felt like it was knitting itself back together. I heard one final snap and blacked out as my body healed.

I woke up and saw that it was just getting to be morning, and I noticed that I could feel the water in the air more prominently than I had before, and other things where also heightened. I could see better, far better than before, in fact I could see the tiniest crack in the wall of the dark alley on the other side of me if I sat up. I also noticed that I felt stronger, and I saw that my body had fully healed, and it didn't even ache at all. My bones felt stronger, and thicker in a way, and I noticed that I was more toned with muscles all over my body. I still looked the same that I had except a little taller, but that was about it. Nothing else could be noticed of me unless I took off my shirt showing the numerous muscles that I had gained for absolutely no reason at all.

I stood and found it breathtakingly easy, and then I put a hand on my chest. I almost fell over in shock, so I took off my shirt and started to tear open my chest. I felt no pain, and I got to where my heart should be, but I didn't see one. My mind and my hands dropped when I discovered this I almost fainted, and I watched as my chest was sealed back up with no scars in a couple seconds. I looked at it dumbfounded, and then I saw a flash of light in-front of me, and Hestia was standing before me. I looked at her in confusion, and I could smell passion and care for me coming from her.

"Would you accept being my champion Percy Jackson" she said

"Yes I would goddess Hestia" I said and I felt something new flowing through out my body

"You will be able to control fire and create any type of food that you want" she said

"Why come to me" I asked

"Because you are worthy to have this blessing, and I know that you are the right one for this" she said looking at me like a mother would a child, and her smell of compassion, care, and a new one protection towards me and I didn't know why "as you probably know your parents are dead. They died in the bomb explosion that was planted in their building.

"I know and I shall mourn later, but right now I need to go and leave before the hunters come and try to kill me like they did the thing that turned me and---" I stopped unable to say it

"And what" Hestia asked and I sighed

"Never mind" I said "it doesn't matter now" then I walked off without her able to answer, but stopped and turned to her.

"Thanks you for caring about me, and helping me when the others wouldn't" I said

"It's fine" she said "you are worth it to me" and then she flashed and was gone leaving me warm inside because she actually cared about me. I decided to go and look for the hunters, but I had no scent to follow and they didn't normally leave a trail behind. Then I remembered, Thalia was there before I had died and turned. I went back to the spot and took a deep breath, and I noticed that Thalia smelled like a rainy storm in the middle of a pine forest. It fit her so well, but I walked around almost literally following my nose. I had to take two 'shortcuts' across a factory plant that held ship containers full of things, and I was faced with yet another fence and more containers.
