What Happened?

The Caribbean: J's room June 6, 2014

K was woken up by the sun shining in her face. She opened her eyes and looked around. She saw that she wasn't in her room. She also noticed that she was not alone.

She then remembered everything last night.

Vice was starting to wake up so K just put her head back on his chest.

Vice opened his eyes and saw K. He smiled. He then looked at the clock. It read 11:03 am.

Wow. It's late. He thought. He sat up and slowly set K down on the bed. He then went to the bathroom.

K opened her eyes and looked to see where Vice went. She sat up and looked for her phone. It was in the pants she wore last night so she took it. She checked it.

New Message:

I'll find you eventually...

K was scared. She was starting to tear up. Vice then got out the bathroom and saw K. He quickly went to her.

"K, what's wrong? What happened?" Vice asked K. K shook her head and wiped her tears.

"Nothing. This is nothing" She said and turned away. Vice then went in front of her.

"Okay, no, I know it's not just nothing. You have to tell me everything now. No more secrets" Vice said firmly to Karylle. Karylle looked up and stared at Vice. She sighed and sat on the bed. Vice followed.

She opened her mouth but then closed it.

"Well?" J asked. K looked down.

"Okay..." K started "That guy yesterday..."

"What about that guy?" J asked. He was looking at her but she's looking down.

"His name is...Jhong...he was my ex-boyfriend and co-worker" She finally said. Vice was so confused.

"Then why would he do that to you?" He asked.

"'Cuz I was the one who broke up with him. I caught him several times with many different women but he keeps on doing it. He promised but he didn't keep it so I finally ended it with him 2 weeks ago. He got mad and he kept following me. I tried to tell him to stop but he would only hurt me. That's why I was the one who left but since he's here too that means he followed me" She explained "Vice...I'm scared" She was now in tears. J rubbed her back.

"Don't worry, he's gone now" Vice said "And even if he tries to hurt you again, just remember I'm always here" He finished. K hugged him tight still crying.

The Strand

Vice and K were walking down the strand while holding hands. K was uncomfortable being around other people so Vice offered to hold her hand.

They just finished lunch and now they are taking a walk. K was now feeling better because J was always cracking jokes and all she would do was laugh.

"Hey, I remembered that the police needs to interview you. Are you okay with that? It's fine if your not" J asked her. She thought about it for a moment then answered him.

"No, it's fine. The sooner we do it, the sooner it's over. Right?" She said. She wanted it to be over so she can move on.

"Alright, let's go then" They then went to J's car and he drove to the police station.

"So, who is this guy to you?" A cop asked K.

"He was my ex-boyfriend. He was also my co-worker. We met half a year ago" K answered

"Okay. What do you think was his motive for doing that to you?"

"Well, I was the one who broke up with him. Also, I told him to stay away from me and I threatened to file a restraining order if he doesn't"

"Alright, was there anything else that would provoke him?" The cop asked.

"I don't think so. That was the only problem we had really" K assured the cop. The cop nodded and finished the interview.

Vice was waiting for K outside. He was on his phone playing games.

"Vice" K called him. He looked up.

"Are you done?" He asked and got up.

"Yeah, let's go" With that, they left

"Are you not worried about Vhong?" K asked J.

"Yeah of course, but I don't want him to think I got his back all the time. He's one of the bests in our-" Vice cut himself off. He almost told her about the agency.

"In your what?" K asked

"Umm...in our company. He specializes in marketing. Talking and persuading people, so I think he's used to other people. He never asked me to help him but every time we go out to party he needs me there" Vice lied

"Oh haha, he gets drunk a lot huh?" K asked. Vice sighed in relief because she changed the topic.

"Yeah haha, I have to drag him to his house every time" Vice said, which was not a lie at all. Vhong does get drunk and he is always in charge of him.

"Wow hahaha" They both kept talking until the sun was starting to go down.

"Do you wanna go back to the hotel?" J asked

"Yeah okay" K answered

They started walking back to the hotel. They passed by a small alley. K looked in and saw something.

"OMG!"
