Broken Heart

At the Hospital: June 10, 2014

K and Vice's mother were sitting in the waiting room. Vice's mom was crying while K was trying to comfort her.

"Mrs. Viceral it's *sniffle* going to be alright. *sniffle* That's Vice we're talking about, he's strong" K was also crying.

Mrs. Viceral just nodded.

"Jose Marie Viceral's family?" the doctor called

"Yes?" His mother stood up.

"I'm his mother" she said

"Oh okay, no need to worry. Jose Marie is fine. He is now stable but we are currently doing tests to know more about his health" the doctor explained.

She nodded

"Can we go see him now?" K nodded.

"Oh yeah, of course but he's still sleeping" the doctor then left.

"Come on Mrs. Viceral, let's go see J" K said. Mrs. Viceral followed.

They got to his door and went in. J was actually awake. He looked like he just woke up.

"Son..." Mrs. Viceral said and walked next to his bed.

"Hey, mom" he replied. He sounded so tired.

"What happened?" she asked

"I don't know, but my chest has actually been hurting for a week now and also my head" he explained

"Why didn't you say anything?"

"I didn't think it was too serious" he shrugged

"And look where it got you"

"Okay, I know. I'm sorry"

"Alright. I'm gonna go and get you something to eat" she stood up "I'll be back" she left.

K was just standing there in the corner of the room.

"Hey K" J said. K looked and smiled a little.

"Hi"

"Why are you way over there? Come here" he said. K walked closer until she was next to his bed.

"Why are you quiet?" he asked. She just shrugged. He chuckled "See? Is there something wrong?"

"...No" she shook her head.

"Are you sure?" he pressed on. She nodded and tries to stop her tears "Sit down" he commanded.

She did. He put his hand on her cheek "What's wrong?" he asked "And don't lie" he smiled a little.

She sighed. "..." she mumbled something.

"What?" he scooted closer to her.

She sighed "...I thought I lost you..." she looked down and a tear rolled down her cheek. J wiped it away and smiled.

"Don't worry. The only way you'd lose me is if you left" she was confused "You're my strength" he shrugged and smiled.

She blushed and looked down.

"Aww, you're blushing" he tried to joke with her. She turned her back away from him "Hey, I was kidding" he was chuckling.

She still ignored him. He sat up a little and put his hand on her shoulder.

"Hey, come on. I'm so-" he stopped "Aah..." he put his hand over his chest "aaahh" he was cringing.

K turned around and saw him "Vice? Vice?! What's happening?! Hold on, let me get a doctor." She stood up and walked to the door.
