My Princess

Karylle saw a person unconscious behind a dumpster.

"Vice, look!" She pointed at the person

Vice looked and was so surprised.

"You stay here. I'll see what happened" J said

He walked in the alley leaving K at the sidewalk. He slowly reached the person and knelt down.

He seems familiar. He thought

He held the guy's shoulder and slowly turned him around.

"OMG!" He said loudly.

It was Vhong. Bruises and cuts on his face. His whole face was swollen but there seems to be nothing serious on his body.

"Vhong" He said and was shaking Vhong. "Hey man, come on wake up" He leaned on his chest and checked his heartbeat. It was slow but at least he's alive.

"K, help me" K rushed over and helped him. They stood him up and brought him to J's car.

J drove them to the hospital. The nurses immediately brought V to the emergency room.

Waiting Room

J was pacing back and forth. He brushed his hand through his hair.

"Hey...Vice, I think you should sit down" K suggested. J sat down but this time he shook his leg up and down.

K put her arms over his shoulders and hugged him.

"It'll be fine. Vhong is strong. He can do this" K said. J just hugged her back.

After a few hours, a doctor came.

"Mr. Navarro's family?" the doctor asked

J stood up "I'm his best friend. Is he gonna be fine?" He asked

"Yes, no need to worry too much. Other than bruises on his face and body, he's alright. Nothing serious, but he needs a lot of rest" the doctor said

J sighed in relief and K stood behind him holding his shoulder.

"Can we see him now?" J asked the doctor

"Yes, of course he's in that room" the doctor pointed to a room.

"Thank You" With that, J grabbed K's hand and walked to the room. K looked down at their hands and smiled.

They reached the room and J opened it. They walked over to where V was. He was peacefully sleeping.

"Oh thank God, you're alright" J said when he was next to his bed.

V opened his eyes and saw them. He smiled a little bit but stopped because his face hurts.

"What's up, man?" V asked quietly.

"Dude, what happened to you?" J asked

"A lot as you can see" V said

Vice and Karylle sat down on the chairs next to the bed.

"No, I'm serious" J said. Vhong sighed.

"I...was walking...with you..." He started slowly

"I...saw someone...being...kidnapped" J was urging him to continue.

"I ran up...to help the...person...but as you...can see...it didn't work out...as I had planned" He said while laughing at the end

"Dude, this is not funny" J said firmly "Why would you do that alone? I was with you and you didn't call me"

"You were busy...with her...so I didn't want to...interfere with what...you two were doing" He said while smirking and wiggling his eyebrows.
