Last day at the house

I had spent the last 4 days of my trial with the others from Team 10. Kind of chill, Jake made a few pranks on me and Chance. Yesterday I packed my bag so that I would be ready to leave in the morning.

I got up early, took a shower, did my hair and makeup and walked downstairs.

Nobody seemed to be awake right now. I opened the fridge to look for something I could eat.

Nothing, as usual. I thought to myself, that I would just grab something on my way home.

I couldn't stop thinking about what Logan said 4 days ago. I tried to forget it, but I was kind of hard to do that.

"Already up?" A voice sounded behind me. "Yeah," I said, nodding as I turned around, to see Chance standing in the door.

"Couldn't sleep or?" He asked me and walked closer to me. "Kind of." I answered smiled at him.

"So, you're going home today," he said and made a sad face. "Yeah, I need to get some space to think in." I smiled at him. He took me into a hug, and we just stood there for some time. "Wanna go grab some breakfast?" Chance asked I nodded. "I'm just going to take some clothe on and I'll be ready." He said, when he reached the stairs he stopped and looked at me. "Should I borrow one of Jakes cars?" I shook my head. "No, remember I got mine 4 days ago?" "Oh yeah, totally forgot that. Anyways I'll be back down in a minute." He ran up the stairs.

It was kind of chill, being out with Chance. We talked a lot while eating breakfast.

We didn't really talk about all the drama that had been going on.

When we got home, I grabbed my bags and put them in my car. I was ready to get some privacy, but I was sure that I would miss having all of those people around me.

I was ready to leave now. I had said my goodbyes and given everybody in the house a hug. The only one missing was Anthony, he hadn't been around since I came back from Logan's. I felt weird about leaving the house without saying goodbye to Tony, I mean we did have fun together.

Jake stood beside my car as I sat down at the driver's seat. "Ready to leave?" He asked and looked down on me. "Do you know where Tony is?" I asked and looked up. "Nop, haven't seen him for days now. He left right before you came back." "Okay. Anyways thanks for letting me stay here." I said and smiled. I closed the door, started the engine and rolled down the window. "It was fun!" I said smiling at Jake. "I'll write to you after the meeting, and I hope we could start seeing each other again, like we used to do, back in time." "Thank, for sure, it would be nice to see you a bit more." Have a nice drive home!" He said as I started to drive out of the driveway.

I turned on the radio, because it was quite silent in the car.

My phone vibrated, it was Logan.

Logan: - Hey Jess, are you home or?

Jess: - I'm on my way home why?

Logan: - Could you drop by quickly?

Jess: - Why?

Logan: - Just come...

Jess: - Okay I'm on my way.

That wasn't weird at all. Why would he want me at his apartment now?

I changed my direction and headed toward Logan's apartment.

It wasn't a long drive, but there was a lot of queue in the city.

Cars honking at one another, people yelling at bikers and walkers.

This was one heck of a sticky ride.
