The ride back to williams penthouse had been short.
His driver had been waiting just around the corner, so getting to them hadn't been a problem.
William had been a perfect gentleman in the car, he had kept his hands to himself so not to scare or rush her into things, already he knew he was rushing. They barely knew each other, and his father had already insisted on a weeding but apart from that, he wanted Mary. He wanted her in his bed and probably his life, he didn't know how long this longing would last but he was willing to see it through.Mary smiled as they stepped into his place, she had tried not to dwell on the kiss they had shared in the restaurant.
She didn't want to feel awkward but really couldn't help it.
She watched William take off his suit jacket, as he walked towards her.'Welcome to my home Mary' he turned around as he said it.
She smiled as she sat down.
'It's nice, but too manly'William laughed as she said it, of course they wouldn't stay here after marriage but she didn't have to know that now did she?
'You can always redecorate babe'
He stood still watching her, not knowing how to get closer. He wanted to hold her, not stand here awkwardly watching her bite her lips.
And oh her lips, he shouldn't even get started on that full lustrous lips.'What time do you have to be at work tomorrow'
'Why?' She asked
'i would love to finish that bottle of wine with You'
Mary smiled as she turned to look at him.'I could call in sick' she said teasingly.
William smiled, great he could work from home too, tomorrow.
He quickly went to the kitchen and returned with two wine glass. He noticed Mary had made herself comfortable in his absence, her blazer jacket was tossed to one side of the seat.
Revealing a small white sleeveless chiffon top. Her heel shoes where also taken off, he could see her well manicured legs.He took in the sight of her and held his breath momentarily, he could feel the hair on his back rising but decided to be calm.
'I can see you've made yourself comfortable in my absence'
Mary turned at the sound of his voice and smiled.'Would you prefer I didn't?' She asked innocently.
William chuckled, she knew he wouldn't. But what was the point in responding? If she wore it back he'd just take it all off there and then.
He poured wine into their glasses, and took a seat next to her.
They sat quietly for a minute both pretending to be so indulge in the movie being shown, but also aware of each other.'You know what this reminds me of?' Mary said breaking the silence.
'No, what does it remind you of?' William said his voice filled with longing.
'High school'
Mary said simply.William laughed at this observation.
'No but really, it does remind me of high school, when you'd go over to that guys house. The one youve been crushing on, and you'd see a movie make out and race back home'William laughed again.
'But Mary, you don't strike me as one who would do such.'Mary blushed.
' oh well, I did. I was so crazy about this guy in my sophomore year and when he finally noticed me, I couldn't believe it.
You see everyone was scared of me because of my brothers' she said as she frowned slightly. 'So on this faithful day he invited me over, I sneaked out of the house, over stayed and when I got home I found out the whole family was looking for me, I had no option but to say the truth.
Well you can't imagine what happened, I had to change school. No one wanted to talk to me anymore'
