Lizzie's PoV
The week had flown by and I had told Joel all about the wonders of minecraft. We now both play together on different servers especially build battle on the hypixel server. I had soon got the knack of it and my builds were pretty good however, not the same for Joel. He was amazing at building big structures over a long period of time, not little animals/ random things in 4 minutes.
Before i knew it it was Saturday and i was getting ready for my birthday surprise. Joel came round to pick me up and had a big box in his hands. I thought I heard some meowing but i must of just been imaging it. "Here, Open this" Joel said handing me the box. I slowly grasped hold of it and carefully started untying the ribbon. I gently lifted of the lid and was astonished to see a small black, white and tan kitten sitting in it. It's doll-like hazel eyes were fixed on me and I gently picked it up in to my arms. It was a boy. After a while of thinking I had came up with a adorable name, buddy. It was perfect, he was my new lil buddy. "Cmon were gonna me late" Joel said ushering my out the house. "Ooo, for what?" I asked getting into his car. He replied," you'll see when u get there". I leant back in my seat and eventually fell asleep. I was awoken by Joel nudging my arm and telling me I was there. Half- asleep I clambered out the car and saw a big sign reading, "Emerald Falls"...
