Lizzie's POV
It was the next day and me and Joel had been on Skype all night. I had to mute it a few times, because of mum and dad screaming at each other. I feel for Maddie it's her first year at high school and she doesn't need all this stuff with mum and dad going on. I wanted the arguing to stop but if they got a divorce my life would literally be hell. I got ready for school and waited at the bus stop, Maddie had made some new friends who she walked with- at least she wouldn't see anymore drama on the bus. I saw Joel as I sat down on the bus and went over to him. "Hey Hey" She said smiling. We talked for bit and then we arrived at school. I had maths. Ugh I hate maths. "See you at break!" I said waving to Joel, as he walked of to English. I sat down in my usual seat but our teacher (mr nees) Told me to get up and find my book at my new place. Why had we been moved again! I found my book easily And sat down, to my dismay Jemma came and sat next to me. This was gonna be a long lesson I thought to myself. "Hey pink haired freak!" Jemma whispered spitefully to me. Ugh, how I hated her.

Joel's POV
It was break and I hurried to the canteen to meet Lizzie and the rest of the gang. I couldn't wait to see her beautiful face...and everyone else of course. I got there and sat down at the table we always sit at. The space next to me (Where Lizzie usually sits) was empty. "Where's lizzie?" I asked everyone. They didn't know we knew she wasn't in detentions because the Maths room was empty. I also noticed Jemma and her 'friends' were gone to, surely they weren't with Lizzie- doing something terrible to her!?
