It had been a week since Richie and Eddie had told each other they loved each other. The three teens sat in the day room playing checkers.

"Beverly marsh?" We all turned to see the lady at the front desk calling Beverlys name.

"Yeah?" The girl asked as she walked to the front desk.

"You have a visitor."

"Oh, is it Bill?" She said excitedly but the lady ignored her question. Bev rolled her eyes at the lady and started walking back to where Richie and Eddie sat.

"What was that all about?" Eddie asked.

"Apparently I have a visitor, but my friends didn't say they were coming today." She responded and before she had a chance to sit back down with her friends a voice called her name.

"Bevvy?"

Beverly felt chills go down her spine as she heard the familiar man call her name. The girl slowly turned around to be facing her dad who stood at the entrance.

"Hi daddy," the girl whispered and he smiled, a smile that sent more chills down her spine. he then walked over to a table and sat down, motioned for her to join him.

Beverly wearily sat down at the table across from the man as her friends looked at her.

"So, how are you bevvy?" The man asked. Beverly began picking at her already short nails .

"I-I'm fine daddy.." She whispered, as she bit down hard on her lip.

"Who is that?" Eddie whispered to Richie. The boy shrugged and the two friends tried harder to listen to what Beverly and her father were talking about.

"We miss you back at home bevvy," he said and the girl almost laughed.

Yeah, you probably miss having someone to hit Beverly thought. The girl ran her hands through her uneven short hair and sighed.

"Your hair.." The man said as he reached his arm out and placed it on her head, she visibly shivered. "Why would you do that?"

"Erm.....I dunno," she said, pushing his arm away.

"Well, I don't like it." He spat and leaned back.

"Well, I'm sorry.." She whispered with sarcasm lacing her words.

"Your coming home soon bevvy," the man said and he stood up and started to leave.

He then placed his large hand on her frail shoulder and whispered "you better not be hanging out with those boys that kept looking at you this whole time bevvy, or you'll be in a lot of trouble." And he released her shoulder and stormed out. Beverly crossed her arms and began quietly crying in her seat.

Eddie saw the girl crying in her seat as her dad left and he slowly walked over to her.

"Hey, Bev?" Eddie asked as he walked up to the girl and threw his arm around her shoulder. The girl started crying more. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing Eddie.." She said and she stood up from her chair and walked out the room.

Richie and Eddie were about to go after her when the bell rang for dinner. The two walked over to the cafeteria.

As they waiting in line they saw that the kitchen had made a bunch of cookies and cake for dessert. Looking around it was clear Bev wasn't going to Come to dinner.

"Hey," Eddie said as he got an idea "why don't we steal a bunch junk food and sneak off to bevs dorm, cause she's probably gonna stay in there through dinner,"

"Sure, come on," and the two began grabbing cookies and stuffing them in napkins which they shoved into their pockets. They then ran out of the cafeteria giggling.

"Knock knock Bev," Richie said as he stepped into her dorm.

"Go away guys," she sniffled out.

"We brought candy for dinner" Eddie shouted and Beverly smiled and looked up from her bed. After a couple seconds she said "fine, come in,"

"Alright!" Richie shouted as he took a seat on the floor and emptied all his pockets of cookies onto her bed.

Beverlys cheeks were bright red along with her nose, and her cheeks were shiny from new tears.

The three now sat at the floor with different cookies and candies sprawled out on a napkin on her bed.

"I love you guys," she said as she pulled them both into a hug and sniffled.

"Dig in!" Eddie shouted as the three grabbed a cookie.

Richie looked at the cookie he held in his hands with weary eyes. Looking up he saw Eddie staring at him and with that he took a bite. Eddie smiled.

Beverly started playing songs on her Walkman and they hummed along as they ate through their stash of candy and cookies. Richie wearily finished off his first cookie.

180 calories in one cookie. 180 Calories. 180 calories. He thought as his eyes drifted to his hands that were covered in crumbs. The boy laid back on the ground and tried to look happy.

"Richie, you wanna another?" Beverly asked and Richie sighed.

"Erm...." He said. "I'm okay.."

180 calories. 180 calories.

"Come on," Bev pushed and the boy nervously took the cookie from her hand. He took a small bite from it and Eddie and Bev smiled at him.
They watched as Richie finished off his second cookie.

180 calories. 180 calories. 180 calories.

Richie felt his stomach jump. Eddie and Bev just stared. Richie hated it. Felt like they were looking at his body. Judging him.

360 calories in two cookies.

"No. Okay. No. I'm sorry." Richie said as he grabbed a napkin and spit out the chewed up cookie he had in his mouth and then he stormed out of the dorm and headed to the nearest bathroom.

"Rich!" Eddie shouted and Eddie and Bev stood up and ran to the door to follow. They chased Richie to the bathroom they saw him run into. The boy sat on the floor in a stall clutching the toilet.

"Richie wait!" Eddie screamed and he ran to the boy and wrapped his arms around him. Beverly stepped into the stall too.

Richie was crying and he still held onto the rim of the toilet tightly.

"Richie please.." Eddie whispered into the boys hair.

"Richie. It's okay. Trust me, you're okay," Beverly whispered as Richie let out a sob, refusing to let go of the toilet.

"Rich..." Eddie whispered.

"I'm so sorry eds," Richie sobbed out and he turned his face away from Eddie as he cried softly.

"Rich.." Eddie cried into his hair. The boy then put his hands on Richies, which still tightly gripped the toilet, and gently pulled them off.

"You're okay Richie...your okay.." Eddie whispered as Richie embraced him and squeezed him, Beverly joined the hug and the three sat on the floor in the bathroom comforting Richie.

"It's gonna be okay.." Eddie whispered.

"I love you Eddie."
