Had some writers block but hopefully I'm back for good! Enjoy this new chapter :)
Bill denbrough and Stanley Uris sat nervously in the visiting room, Bill looking around in worry as he waiting for his friend to walk in.
"Bill, you have to calm down." Stan whispered as he put his hand over bills to keep them from shaking.
"I-I can't. I duh-didn't visit her, I wuh-was a huh-huh-horrible friend. " He looked down at his hands that were still trembling.
Bill felt horrible, he felt like the worst person ever. He should have visited her, he just, he couldn't.
"It'll be okay." Stan whispered into bills ear and at this moment a ginger haired girl walked through the doors, staring confusedly around the room as she looked for the supposed visitor she was told she had. That's when her eyes landed on Bill.
The two locked eyes and Bill immediately started crying, he couldn't stop it. Beverly stayed frozen in her spot, staring at Bill.
"B-Bill." She said quietly as she looked at her friend who was wiping his eyes.
Bev slowly shuffled over to the table they sat at and pulled up a chair, her weak legs shivered against the chair as she looked from Bill to Stan.
And without a second thought, she blurted out "why'd it take you so long?"
Bills eyes went wide and his heart beat was all he could hear.
"I-I'm suh-so suh-suh-sorry, Bev. I-I juh-just fuh-fuh-felt so gu-guilty." He was stuttering like crazy, desperately trying to form sentences.
"Guilty? For what?" Beverly asked.
"I-I fuh-fuh-felt like I cuh-couldn't help you. Like I wuh-was only making muh-muh-matters worse."
"That wasn't your decision to make." She said harshly, and no matter how much she missed bill and Stanley, she was also angry.
"I nuh-nuh-nuh-know." He said, and then he looked over to Stan, who had been dead silent the whole time.
"I'm sorry Beverly. I should have visited, we just felt useless.." Stan muttered as he looked at her and Bill.
"I needed you guys. I needed you so bad, and you ditched me. You left me here." She said sternly.
"I know. And we're so incredibly sorry, we just felt so guilty.." Stan said immediately, but Bev still didn't understand why they would feel guilty.
"Guilty for what?!" She shouted as she lost her patience.
"Fuh-fuh-fuh-for-" Bill started but he couldn't for the love of him spit it out.
"For this!" Stan shouted and he grabbed bills hand and laced his own fingers with his, and Bev sat confused for a second before her eyes went wide.
"Oh..." Was all she could say.
Bill retracted his hand. "Buh-buh-Beverly I'm suh-sorry, we juh-juh-just didn't nuh-know how to tuh-tuh-tell you."
"You should have tried." Beverly said hotly and she stood up and ran out of the room, her legs shaking as she did.
Bev ran through the halls but stopped, her lungs couldn't handle it and her skinny legs gave out from under her and she fell to the ground as tears streamed down her cheeks.
Bill and Stan sat frozen as they watched their friend run away, Bill wanted anything for Beverly to be happy.
And within second bill was running down the hall after her, ignoring the shouts from security guards. Stan watched with wide eyes as his friend ran after Beverly, and within seconds he was chasing after the both of them.
Beverly sat in the middle of the floor as she hyperventilated and wiping her eyes, Bill collapsed on the floor next to her and wrapped his arms around her.
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry." Bill repeated over and over as Beverly rested her head on bills chest, her breath hitched.
Stan finally caught up and he collapsed on the floor next to Bill and wrapped an arm around Bev, and the three sat there on the floor.
After what felt like an hour of holding onto Beverly, she finally opened her eyes and looked at them. She took a few minutes before saying:
"I forgive you."And Bill and Stan pulled her into a hug and held her.
After a few minutes they stood up and Beverly looked from bill to Stan and back to Bill.
"So..." She said shakily. "You two are...together?" Bill looked at stan and turned red.
"Well, we needed to talk to you first.." Stan said as he looked at Beverly. "We weren't going to do anything without talking with you."
"Oh.." Beverly said, but she wasn't sad. She was just taking it all in. "Okay"
"So..." Stan said awkwardly. "Are you okay?"
Beverly looked at the floor, she rubbed her shivering arms and looked up. "Yeah.
I think so."The three shifted around quietly as the silence grew thick, and it was only when Beverly said "come here." Was the silence broken.
Stan and Bill walked over to Beverly and she wrapped her arms around them, standing in between them as they walked down the hallway. Her arms rested on both their shoulders as she pressed all her weight onto them.
They reached the visitors room and Bill and Stan headed over to the exit, Beverly hugged them both.
"I'll be back next week!" Bill said and Beverly smiled.
"See you next week red head." Stan said with a salute, Bev now hated how visiting days were only once a week. She already missed them.
As she skipped down the hall when she saw a short skinny boy running down the hall to the boys dorms.
"Eddie!" She shouted as she broke into a run after him, eddie turned and smiled as he slowed down.
"Hey! Come on, rich is waiting in our dorm." He said with a smile and the two walked down the hall to his dorm. Beverly grabbed eddies hand and he laced it with hers as the two bestfriends walked happily.
