The class got out of their seats and ran to the door pumped up energy while I left feeling sick to my stomach.

Adrien's pov

As I was driving home I kept wondering why my father had said yes. He always wants to have a close eye on me. That was the reason why I was never allowed to go to school until this year.

I also can't believe we get to meet thee Princess of China. I wonder what she is like. I bet she is sweet and cares about each and everyone in her kingdom. I also bet she is beautiful. I think she would just be amazing in every way...

Marinette's pov

I tripped... again...

I ran home as soon as I could. I didn't pay attention to any of Alya's calls after me. I just ran. I know for sure the princess doesn't want us to meet her. Her parents probably didn't say anything or give her a choice.

I slammed open the door to see my mama and papa sitting on the couch together. "Really!?"

"Really what??" my mom said with a grin on her face.

"The class gets to meet the royal family!!"

"I don't see how that is really a bad thing," my dad replied.

"I'm just think the princess would probably like for her parents to give her a heads up before my whole class goes to see her."

"I thought the princess might like a surprise." The two had smiles on their faces.

"Ok so a long with my class meeting the princess they are going to meet the King and Queen first."

"Yes but I want you to pack one dress when everyone meets the royal family. Now go and pack."

It had only taken me thirty minutes to pack for a month away in China. That seems like a long time but it's for a month. Since I had to pack a dress I decided to pack a sky blue, knee length dress that I had made.

I thought it would look nice and I might wear a dress on the way to China tomorrow too.

Adrien's pov

I opened the door to see my father standing at the top of the stairs. For once he had a smile on his face. I smiled back.

"Hello Father. I wanted to thank you for letting me go to China."

"That is what I wanted to talk to you about. I want to say thank you for doing all I ask of you. I thought you needed to take a break which was why I had said yes."

I ran up the stairs and gave him a hug. He was surprised at first but hugged back. "Thank you Father," I whispered.

"Thank you Adrien," he whispered. I broke the hug after awhile."Now go pack and make sure you bring a tux."

I walked to my room and began packing.
