The song ended and we parted ways. I found Alya and Nino and told them the story about Mari leaving. They hated the idea as much as I did.

Marinette's pov

When the song ended I left Adrien and went to the rest of the class. Since Kim had squealed I decided to ask him to dance.

"Marinette, I can't believe your a princess," Rose said.

"Neither can I. Now Kim may I have this dance??" I asked him. He looked shocked.

"Of co... Course," he replied. We walked onto the dance floor. "So Mari why did you ask me to dance??"

"I heard you give a squeal when Miss Bustier announced something about the princess," I replied with a smile.

"Oh god, you heard that."

"Yes plus I am going to teach you how to dance because you should ask Alix."

"Alix??"

"I see the way you two look at each other. I am going to give you a small push."

We continued to dance until the song was over. He walked over to Alix and it seemed like he was going to ask her to dance.

I felt someone tap my shoulder. I turn around to see my Father "May I have this dance??"

"Of course." We walked onto the dance floor.

"I am sorry you were revealed earlier than you wanted and without a warning. It was just China needed to know their princess was safe."

"It's ok. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I am actually having fun and my class hasn't treated me any different."

"I also heard that you found out about you staying longer than plan."

"Yes, Papa and I don't mind. If the kingdom needs me I will be there for them."

"You are going to make a great queen but you don't have a king yet."

"I don't want to be set up with someone I don't love just to have a king. Plus I'm only 16 so that is a ways in the future."

He chuckled. "I know..."

"Papa since I have to stay could my class stay a little longer??"

"We'll talk to their parents and Miss Bustier."

The music stopped and our dance ended. He walked over to my mom and I walked to where Alya, Nino, and Adrien were located.

"You have some explaining to do," Alya started.

"Ok yes I'm the Princess of China and during the tour the girl you saw was me. I was giving you a gift for being such a great friend."

"That's not what I'm really talking about. You have to stay!!"

The three of them were looking at me with stern looks on their faces waiting for me to explain. "Yes, I have to stay for awhile. My kingdoms needs a princess and I have to be that princess. I need to be there for them."

"What about me?? I need you to be there for me!!" Alya said. I believe a tear was about to fall.

"That is why I asked my father if the class could stay longer. I need you there for me too and I couldn't be a good princess without my class by my side. I would always do whatever I can to be by your side. I need you three," I replied.

Alya hugged me. "Oh girl... You are going to be the best princess ever.

A tear fell from both of our eyes. "Damn it Alya, you're making me cry."

"I'll hold Thomas hostage until you stop crying," I heard Nate say behind me.

I smiled. "Leave Thomas alone you dork," I said to Nate.

"Ok fin..." Nate started.

"Maritrash!!" Chole yelled. It caused the music to stop and everyone to look over here.

Here it comes.

"Hi Chole," I had a smile on my face. I need to be nice and show my kingdom that I am.

"How can you be a princess!?"

"Well you see when a king and a queen love each other very much they decided to have a child. When the child is born he/she becomes a prince/princess."

"That's not what I meant!!"

"Well could you please explain to me what you meant??"

"You were the daughter of bakers!! Not royalty!!"

"You see for a few years it was not safe for my family to live in China so we moved to France and started a new life. Being bakers was just a cover up. Now that it is safe and my people are safe we came out of hiding. "

"Then who took care of China when you left!?"

"I'm sorry, that is classified. But know when we were gone China was in safe hands. Now is there anything else??"

Ok I am calmly taking care of this. Maybe I can take care of China by acting calm. It might help my people stay calm. I hate to say it but Chole just taught me something.

"Is this a trick?? Acting calm??"

"No it is not a trick. It is what you are suppose to do when you talk to others and try to tell them to stop talking so they don't make more of a fool of themselves." I didn't really want to say the last part but I had to. She might stop talking and making a fool of herself.

She was shocked but then had a smirk. "Well that's see who makes a fool of themselves..." Chole grabbed Nate and kissed him. She just made a fool of herself.

"I think you made a bigger fool if yourself." Oh god how wanted to punch her. "Sorry about the interruption please enjoy the rest of the ball."

Wait she wasn't done!!

"I don't think you deserve to be a princess."

I took a deep breath trying to act calm. It didn't work. I ended up punching her in the nose. "That kinda hurt," I casually said. The class laughed behind me. "Now Chole I will say this once. Grow up and stop acting like a child. Only children throw fits when they don't get first class or find out the person they hate the most is a princess. I am sorry for making your nose bleed. Our guard will take you to the bathroom to get it all fixed up."

There as an awkward silence. I expected that. A princess just punched someone. Who wouldn't be shocked??

"Now please enjoy the rest of the ball," I calmly said to everyone. "Alya my hand really hurts!!" I started rubbing it which didn't help.

"Well you punched a girl so it probably will hurt!!"

"Is it bad that I'm ok with the idea of punching Chole?? You know like I feel pretty good about it but my hand hurting is like carma or something."

"Let's just have a great time at the rest of the ball!!"
