Marinette's pov
I decided to put on a simple red dress with silver heels. Since I was wearing a dress, something I usually wouldn't wear, I wore a different hair style.
I really hoped that Adrien would like it. Plus I wanted to wear something cute for my first day in China. I grabbed my two bags plus my backpack. We weren't supposed to have more than two bags plus a carry on like a backpack. I went downstairs, grabbed an apple, and started walking. After a few minutes, it took longer because of the bags plus the heels, I was there. I looked around. It was just me, the teacher, and the driver. I was actually here before everyone else.
"Hello Ms.Bustier. I only brought two bags like you said," I said.
"Oh yes hand them here." I gave her my bags. "We will be loading in just a few minutes. So please wait until the driver said it's okay."
"Of course."
"Wow girl. First one here and looking amazing," Alya said behind me. I turned around to see her, Nino, and Adrien getting out of his car.
"I really was surprised I was the only one here too," I replied.
"I love your dress," Nino said causing my to turn a little pink.
"Thank you. I made it myself."
"That's amazing. You really look cute," Adrien said. Now I was bright red. Adrien had just called me cute!!
"Thank you."
In the distance you could hear the driver saying it was ok to head on the bus.
"How do I look Adrikiinns??" Chole said behind me. "I probably look ten times better than Marinette."
"You look... good..." Adrien awkwardly said.
It was just a random question that she asked then saying something a little rude about me. I have started not to care as much after having to have her in my class for four years in a row. You just get use to it. It still does annoy me but it's Chole. What are you going to do??
"Only good!?" Chole squealed.
"Well I think you look amazing," Sabrina commented.
"Yeah her slave has to think she looks amazing," Alya whispered to me but just loud enough for Chole to hear. I gave a slight chuckle.
"She is not my slave!! You know what I don't have time to deal with you!! All I need to do is think about how the princess and I are going to get along. She probably won't even give you the time of day," Yeah you'll be best friends... "Come on Sabrina let's head on the bus. Adrikiinns I will save you a spot close to me."
"No thank you. I was planning to set with Nino."
Chole stomped her foot and went on the bus with Sabrina right behind.
"I'm sorry I was kinda being mean to one of your first friends Adrien... I know you don't like people talking to her like that," I said with my head looking down. I really did think we were being a bit rude to her yesterday and this morning. I don't want Adrien to think I am an awful and mean person like she is.
"Oh no Mari. You were just standing up for yourself. There is really no reason to apologize," Adrien said while putting on hand on my shoulder before heading onto the bus. Nino, Alya, and I followed.
One by one the rest of the class arrived. The seats were full, the bags were packed, and it was time to go. My stomach felt like it was in knots and I was going to throw up. I mean I was really excited to go to a place where I haven't been in years but I was nervous for what is in store for me.
