THE GAMER (SungJoy)

Level VII

Sooyoung was trying to reach a book in the library, she's been at it for many minutes now and she can't seem to reach it, she wants to read about the tournament that will be held in their school, they had their meeting and she was assigned to assist the basketball team. She'll be running errands and possible to substitute the manager.

ahh... unnie said I'm tall then how come I can't reach this thing?

She was surprised when suddenly someone just came behind her and reached for the same book, she turned around and found herself close to Sungjae. He looked down on her with an amused face. Now their faces are just one breath away.

"Are you reaching for this?" he gave it to her.

"a-ah ne.." accepting it then look down flustered.

Sungjae chuckled and stepped back putting his hands on his pockets looking at her. He finds it cute that she's embarrassed at him when in the game she's so into him. You might be wondering how he knew her, it's a secret.

"Have you eaten yet?" he was stepping up his game.

The tournament was coming up and he can't concentrate in the game when he knows that there are guys looking at her and for sure will be asking her out, is that selfish of him?

I'm just claiming what's mine.

"I did-" But then her stomach made a sound. She covered her stomach feeling more embarrassed than a while ago when he laughed, not the insulting laugh but the laugh like he's happy later on she found herself laughing as well.

In the end she agreed to eat with him, they went to the cafeteria and she forgot that it's lunch so the cafeteria are full of students. But Sungjae doesn't mind the attention, he's only eating his food normally, that's what she did.

They were eating silently but it's not awkward, maybe there's something in the atmosphere that they don't want to break.

Have you felt that? that being with him without uttering a word is enough, by having that person beside you, you feel contented because that's what's currently she's feeling. But she's curious about something so she asked him.

"Why did you ask me to eat with you?"

He stopped eating and put down his spoon and sighed then looked straight at her.

"Because I..."

"hmm?" she asked looking curious, Sungjae was shocked by their proximity, when in the library he did not feel embarrassed but now that she's the one initiated their closeness without her knowing, he suddenly felt embarrassed maybe because they have audience.

"I.." He can't concentrate when her big doe eyes are looking straight at him. He gathered all his courage and opened his mouth to say something.

"I don't want to eat alone." In the end that's the only thing he could say. What the hell Yook Sungjae?

She laughed. "Bwoya? that's it? You could ask your dorm mates right?"

"But it's not them that I want to eat with. " He put his hands together on the table. "It's you that I want to eat with" he said like he was not embarrassed a while ago.

Sooyoung was dumbfounded, he said it loud and clear that even the students who were eating next to them heard what he said.

"omo!!"

"Are they together?!"

"ahh no!! my heart"

Sooyoung only thought of him throughout the day because of it.

She was lying on her bed when Wendy unnie went out of the c.r drying her hair.

"Sooyoung-a you're not playing today?"

"hah? o-oh. not today."

"Well well that's news, this is the first time I heard you say that." She sat on my bed. "Tell me, what's bothering you?"

Sooyoung sat and faced her unnie thinking if she should her her dilemma or not but she did anyway, it's Wendy unnie she trusts her.

"Unnie you know that I have a husband in the game right?" she nodded. "Well... it's just that... I like him but not in a romantic way but he's still my husband in the game..."

"So what's the problem?"

"Yook Sungjae... I.."

" ah wae? what's with Yook Sungjae? you're killing me with suspense."

"Ilikehim." She said it not breathing but she knew her unnie understood it.

Wendy started slapping the mattress and punching Sooyoung's pillow, when she calmed down she then faced Sooyoung.

"jinjja?"

Sooyoung nodded.

"But I feel like I'm cheating with my husband in the game, I feel bad."

Wendy started caressing her hair.

"aigoo uri Sooyoung-ie~ Why do you feel bad? It's virtual, we don't know, your husband might also have a girlfriend. It's not like you know him personally, there's nothing to feel bad about it, if you want why don't you annul him in the game if it makes you feel better."

"But it's not like Sungjae likes me, he was just nice to me but I totally fell for him."

"Why don't you tell him them?"

"I don't want to, I'm scared."

"Then wait, maybe he likes you back too?"

"Wait?" Can she wait for him?

She should deal with her husband in the game first, He was good to her too and they have good team work. But she doesn't want this to become a problem in the future. Sooyoung decided that she will talk to him so she logged into the game, she was glad the he's online.

Joy_31: Hi, u busy?

6_Sjae: No, why? what's the matter?

Joy_31: ahm... I... want to... break up with you.

Sooyoung was biting her finger nails, he hasn't replied yet and she was afraid of what he'll say. What if he doesn't want to? both of us should agree if we want to break our marriage, that's the rule.

6_Sjae: typing...

6_Sjae: Okay.

what? He agreed? that easily?

This is going to be easy. Sooyoung thought, she was thinking he'd at least demand her reason. she looked on her laptop when she heard a message popped up.

6_Sjae: On one condition.

what? and here Sooyoung thought she'll be free, it's definitely not easy to break up with someone even though they are in the game. But she has to accept the consequence.

Joy_31: okay, wat's ur condition?

It was a minute before she read his reply. She almost fall off on her chair when she read his message. She really hasn't thought of this, and she thought it will be impossible. Even Wendy unnie had her mouth wide open from the message.
