Prince of Wolves

Prologue

Many years ago a dispute broke out between the three species of earth werewolves, banshees, and humans. All three species wanted the crown; dismissing themselves from the wrath of the other species of earth. They argued for many years until one day a werewolf bit a human, a human hit a banshee, and a banshee screamed at a werewolf causing a full out war. 

The humans were quick to surrender knowing that their efforts were useless against the supernatural species they were fighting. The humans remained neutral providing aid to anyone who needed it, regardless of species. 

The werewolves and banshees continued fighting for 7 years. Neither of them wanting to lose. Both sides lost hundreds of men and women, but the banshees suffered the worst. Almost all of their army had been defeated by the end of the infamous war. They surrendered allowing the werewolves to take the throne. 

It is now 214 years after the war and the werewolves continue to remain in power as the nobles and the royals. The humans and banshees falling victim to the wrath of the werewolves, becoming simple peasants, servants, or slaves. Though not all werewolf kingdoms were depicted terribly, one of the worst was the Hale kingdom.

King Peter was ruthless, not caring for anyone but his family. His slaves were treated harshly, as were the slaves of the two princes in line. Prince Derek and Prince Theo. Prince Derek was said to be nice and kind... unless you got on his bad side. While Prince Theo was said to be just as cruel as King Peter, but in a different way. His torture was mental, twisting the minds of his slaves to make them believe that he loved them. Until, he would just toss them into jail like they never existed. 

The common people questioned whether or not Theo should still be in line for the throne, after his wife Malia Hale died. But, Prince Theo remained in the line under the approval of King Peter, whom no one would oppose. 

That's where this story begins...
