Chapter 10

Liam left his resignation letter in the in box and left the castle without a glance back. If Theo was going to play mind games with him he couldn't bear it. But he didn't know he had fallen into Lydia's trap.

"Liam!" the Prince yelled as he paraded into his room only to find it empty.

"Prince Theo?" Lydia beckoned from outside the door "who are you looking for?"

"Oh, just Liam"

"Didn't you hear? He resigned."

"What?!"

"Yeah said he just came for the sex" Theo's heart dropped immediately. Why would Liam do such a thing, play with his heart like that. Who does that to a person it isn't fair.

"That's it?" Theo asked praying that there was something else to make him leave

"Yes. I'm so sorry Prince Theo. I know how much you loved him." She placed her hand on his shoulder in an attempt to act like she cared when underneath she was snickering, Her plan was finally working.

"You know there is a way to get back at him?"

"How?"

"Show him you don't care for him. Show him it was an act that it wasn't real."

"But it was real. I love him." Lydia almost physically cringed as he said those words.

"Fine then stay here and wallow in your pity." Lydia began to exit the room knowing that this would work no matter what.

"What do you have in mind?"

"Marry me."

"What?"

"Marry me. It will prove your over him and you need a new spouse anyway after Malia died and were already friends nothing would change."

"Ya, ya okay." Theo was in such a bad state that he had no idea what he had gotten himself into or that he had fallen directly into Lydia's plan.

A/N: Hey guys! Sorry if these chapters kinda sucked I'm just trying to finish the story so I don't leave you guys on a cliff hanger or anything. I don't know when book two will be up. I already have the entire plot outlined and the cover done now its just a matter of writing it. It'll be out eventually (next book is called Queen of Banshees)

Updater A/N: Uh basically I'm just gonna take the plot from the second book, shorten it and put it into this book. So there is no longer a second book. Its just this one. Just wanted to let you guys know.
