Logan's POV

Taking in the unfamiliar sights, I sit up, dazed. My head pounds. I find a note on the table next to the white couch I was sitting on.

Logan,

I am at the hospital, Alex has had a incident. I picked you up from the club last night. Take some medicine and call me.

I thought, trying to gather any memories.

Alex has had an incident.

I grabbed the Advil and glass of water, tilting my head back to swallow the pills. My brain was slowly processing everything that had just happened. I found my phone charging in a nearby outlet. I walked to the mirror and looked over myself.

I tried to clean up as much as I could,  and then called Noah.

"Hello?"

"Noah!" My thoughts started to swirl around Alex.

"Logan, you woke up!"

"Yeah, uh, I saw your note..." I trailed off.

"Yeah, Alex just got out of surgery a few hours ago, and I'm here with her, I'm obviously not part of this, but I'm not sure if you should come, since you broke up, but you would know better, because-"

"Alright I'll be there in ten," I hung up and called an uber.

I was so anxious to see her. What if she is paralyzed? What if she doesn't remember me?

"Hi! How can I help you?"

"Do you know where Alexis is?" I looked around for Noah or anyone I knew.

"Alexis is in room 104," I turned down the hallway, checking the room signs.

100...101...102...103...104! I slowed down as I opened the door. I gently opened the door to see Alex in a bed under blankets, and Noah sitting on a chair next to her. Alex was Obviously passed out, as Noah played some app.

He puts a finger to his lips, because Alex had just fallen asleep. I nodded, quietly sitting next to him. He started whispering to me, giving me details on what had happened. I nodded along, watching Alex sleep. She had a few scuffs around her face and on her arms, but blankets covered most of her body.

"They took some brain scans earlier this morning, and are looking them over as we speak," I nodded.

"How did she look this morning,"

"She was pretty drugged up, lethargic, loopy, a little confused,"

"Did she know who you were?"

"I don't think so," His voice became low and quiet. My eyes began to water. I looked away. I love this girl.

I love Alex more than anything. The past few months have been devastating. And it's all my fault. Now the girl I love the most probably doesn't remember me or anything about me. Doesn't remember all the late nights we had. All of the longs conversations we had. The sunsets we watched together. The way we teased eachother. Messing around in the ocean. Getting competitive during anything and everything.
